Initial use looks okay for me as well. I cannot comment on whether or not anything has changed since 340.52, which some have said interferes with use of -use_sleep on AstroPulse.

They (NVidia) removed support for older cards (older than 400 series). Waiting for 960 in October, that will change my old 9800GT. :)

I noticed that it reset all the values for temperature in my Precision X. Didn't notice that till today. Otherwise, seems to be stable

Check your Precision X if you use the new driver. I found that it resetted mine in 2 of my machines so that I had to reapply the parameters that I had installed on them. Namely max temp of the card and whether power or temperature was the priority.

Working fine here on a pair of brand new 750Ti's.

Had to upgrade to the latest version of Firefox though. It was crashing the driver.

You should have just turned off Hardware acceleration in FF instead.

Since going to 344.11 I noticed that I had to up my fan from 50% to 60% to maintain the temps that I like.

I've been running 344.11 since 9/19 and haven't found a problem with it interfering with Precision X auto fan control and the temps for my 2 x GTX750Ti have been in the low 30c range when idle and mid 40 ~ mid 50c under load.

So the random self-initiated video driver resets seem to have stopped??

No changes here, the new driver works fine on my GTX-750.
As your computers are hidden I cannot see what hardware you are using. You should not use the new driver on old (pre Fermi) cards.
You should not have to change any SETI/BOINC parameters after a driver upgrade. However, if you overclocked your card these settings may have been lost according to some ...

This driver causes the same trouble as 340.52:
It is using 2 *full* cores when running without -use_sleep on 2 GPUs. With version 337.88 the 2 GPUs only use barely 1 core without -use_sleep.

[edit]
You can monitor the "trouble" if enabling "show kernel times" in task monitor. With the newer driver the cores "spend" = waste the most time in kernel waits.
If you ask me, this is not an improvement at all... X(
Aloha, Uli
