Hi there! the SETI@home GPU tasks that run on my Intel GPU usually take about 2-3 hours to complete, yet for some reason one task completed in 19 seconds. Neither BOINC nor the task page reported an error... can somebody figure out what happened? http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/result.php?resultid=3728944943 Thanks! |

Can you please explain to me what radio interference is all about? As far as I know we do have a lot of different as well as sometimes disturbing radio communication going on here on Earth, but before going to bed late last night, I got a quick glance of the planet Jupiter through my bedroom window. The sky was very clear and I found its exact location in the sky by noticing Castor and Pollux in Gemini some distance to the north and west of the planet. Anyway, the brightness of this planet is at times quite remarkable. |

Unfortunately, there is a powerful military radar set that will interfere with SETI if the antenna SETI uses is in the wrong position, and the RADAR is on. BOINC WIKI |
