In all my years of life, and out of all the places I have been,
what is true for others is also true for me. There is no place
like home. Like any where else, my home must be seen and experienced
in real life.

Here is my own shot of one of the sites in Celttooth's last video: The Seven Sisters. One of my favorite spots in Banff. (there is one more to the left, and three to the right, for a total of seven.)

The ice ages did a dandy job there and you got to see them before erosion rounds them off and shortens them. Excellent pic.

Lovely pictures everyone :)

Been having a rummage for some scenery snapshots to post, but the only ones I've unearthed so far either have me, or some other vaguely human relative/friend bang in the middle of them...

This one differed in the sense it had my other half's head in the bottom left which I have now removed. Erm... Corel software... not guillotine obviously. He was standing inside the tree in between licking bus stops I think :)

So... does one tree count as scenery do you think?

It WAS a big tree... and it did get between the camera and the rest of Epping forest... :)

C'mon Julie. You put your other half in a Harry Potter thing that's going to do horrible things, and you blame it on Corel. (What edition? I just upgraded, and it's good).

Of course a magical tree is scenery!

:-)

CC

It was me that did the corel thing CC :) and I'm running a very old version of Webdesigner (about 12 years old at least - but still so good I haven't felt the need to upgrade as yet. My son has one much more up to date though :))

It IS a magical tree isn't it! :) Your marina pic is really pretty and very tranquil :) Lovely calming effect...

@CC - Ok then :)

(sorry Julie - not very original considering your last opening words in this thread :))

To keep Julie and Wingdi company and to continue the tree theme... Honey farm on the Greek island of Thassos... complete with human and many many many happy bees producing the absolute best honey I have ever eaten :)

Unless there has been an accident involving me, a bush full of astonished spiders and a VERY sharp thorny thing at ankle level, this is not my usual pose for photographs... even 17 years ago :)

@Graham :) yes... although there are other ways too :)

Okay... last one for a bit I promise :)

Discreetly disguised by trees - again! :))

A cliff top overlooking the sea on the Greek Island of Lesbos.

There was a translation mix-up when we caught the ferry... nothing trivial :) My phrase book didn't adequately distinguish the subtle difference between... Lesbos is a stop en route to Thassos and... Lesbos is where the ferry stopped before returning to Athens. Was a surprise :) and a very nice week-long one too - with lots of friendly donkeys braying their heads off with joy as they charged about the olive groves on their way to say hello to you :)

One wouldn't tell by the pic in the real seti friends thread:)

Good company is a rejuvenating elixir Julie :)
