G'day Julie, I hope that your day won't be as bad as mine was yesterday. ;-)

Well it's now that time for a change, Rum O'clock is now in session. :-D

Cheers.

What brand of rum is that, Wiggo? Capt. Morgan is generally what I ask for if I want a rum n' coke.

"Wiggo's Premium Naval Rum" it is Gordon, my brewroom turns out many types of alcoholic beverages. ;-)

Cheers.

I guess I forgot about the rum. I usually just see you talking about the beer production.

Well about the only thing that no one will ever see coming out of that room is wine.

Cheers.

Can you grow grapes there, or do you not care for wine?

Grapes grow very well here (there are several wineries in this area), but yes, I don't like wine at all.

Cheers.

Wiggo always has his rum o'clock after the beer o'clock:)

They do say never mix "grain and grape" which is usually meant as beer and wine. But rum is made from sugarcane and its derivatives, so I guess that is OK?

Apparently doctors say that mixing your drinks won't make you any better or worse off than sticking to one type of drink. The answer to not getting ill in the morning after drinking, is not to drink to excess in the first place.

Well, I've never been bad off after any amount of Guinness. :~)

I've heard that some people can be very crook the next morning, though I've never experienced that myself (mind you I have woken up still under the influence a few times). :-)

Definitely still been feelin' it in the morning, but never really felt worse for the wear. Guinness and stouts in general seem to do well with my brain.

Well I can pretty much guarantee that if I have an evening on the beer, then finish off with a couple of nightcaps of a decent port, I will know it the next morning!! But I have cut down quite a lot on the alcohol intake over the last 3 months or so. The truth was that I was drinking more than was healthy or sensible, it was a social habit that had sort of crept up on me. No I don't miss it, and my wallet sure doesn't!

Having said, that I'm always up for a decent pint of beer any time (in moderation). Anyone buying?

We would have been bad enablers, Chris! ;~}

I'm sorry, but the sale of any of my alcoholic products is against the law.

Though those who know where to find me are always welcome to join me for a few drinks. ;-)

Cheers.

If I ever get the finance to do that I would look forward to it :-))

Would've started hitching about an hour ago - soon after writing out my profundity in fact - but the full stop I put at the end of it crashed my computer... so I might not try that again.

Very relieved to be back I must say...

Coffeeing myself now... hoping it might unjangle me... CHEERS EVERYONE!!!!! :)

That would not be a problem Chris. ;-)

Annie, it sounds like that PC of yours could due with a very good tune-up.

Anyhow, seeing as the servers are delivering work again (until the outrage anyway) I'm off to bed.

G'nite all.

Cheers.
