I had 4 pancakes this morning, with lite maple syrup, which is 100 calories per serving, instead of 200 calories per serving. Though for the next week or so, breakfast will be eggs and 2 sausages per day. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Krispy Kreme started in the southeast, then expanded into the midwest. But after a few years, they switched their business model and closed most of the shops, at least around here. They now have a central bakery and distribute to grocery stores. Dunkin Donuts is owned by the same company as Baskin Robbins Ice Cream, so most DD stores around here are now combined DD/BR stores. Curiously, the DD closest to my home is not also a BR, yet they still closed the BR closest to it. (Off the topic of breakfast, more or less, KFC, Taco Bell, Long John Silver's, and Pizza Hut are all owned by Yum Brands and often have combined stores. Usually Taco Hell and something else.) I just ate some Oreo cookies for a breakfast. I normally can't eat at my desk (company policy) but I don't care *sips coffee* Well, my mother scarfs down a donut in the morning like something out of Willy Wonka. You could come over anytime and make a batch! The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

They now have a central bakery and distribute to grocery stores. I haven't noticed any combined DD/BR's here, but I am seeing some of the Yum! store marriages breaking up. Taco Bell seems to be shedding it's partners here. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

I just ate some Oreo cookies for a breakfast. I normally can't eat at my desk (company policy) but I don't care *sips coffee* The company never complained about me eating at my desk because when eating I was staring at a display or listing looking for software bugs. I did hate it when my boss ate at his desk because he would eat a greasy hamburger and put his fingers on the screen to point out items. Before I could work with him I would have to clean his screen so I could see the code under the grease. As for beverages, there was a coffee makers and a refrigerator fully stocked with soft drinks that we were encouraged to partake in. My boss felt he would get more work out of us if we had more caffeine in our blood stream. A wise boss. |

I just ate some Oreo cookies for a breakfast. I normally can't eat at my desk (company policy) but I don't care *sips coffee* We had plastic covers for our keyboards at AAA. I eat and drink at my desk now, too, but there's nobody here but me, ;~} Breakfast was pumpkin doughnuts this morning. I think it'll be scrambled eggs for the morning coming up, and I'm real simple about it. ~Just scrambled with a little butter. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

Something interesting that just showed up: http://www.yahoo.com/health/5-reasons-to-skip-breakfast-97835884338.html As noted earlier in this thread, I tend to eat a light breakfast most days, but when I eat a heavy breakfast, it is later in the morning, more than an hour after rising. But the bottom line is, don't follow rigid rules/advice, find what works best for you. Donald Infernal Optimist / Submariner, retired |

Something interesting that just showed up: Interesting. I'm not sure I buy the fasting idea, though. I don't think it's good to run the body on low fuel any more than it's good to overfill the tank, so to speak. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

My target of opportunity for breakfast was 🢠Knorr Pasta Sides Cheddar Broccoli. 😃 I learned long ago. A meal is what you make of it. The time was 4:30pm. I work night shift. |

My target of opportunity for breakfast was 🢠Knorr Pasta Sides Cheddar Broccoli. 😃 Yep, it is. I sometimes don't have a proper breakfast, sometimes I'll be bad and have ice cream for breakfast if I have any in the freezer, right now I'm out of ice cream and for the moment, money. My target of opportunity for breakfast was 🢠Knorr Pasta Sides Cheddar Broccoli. 😃 My mom likes ice cream after her corn flakes or eggs. Hey, as she said, it's a source of calcium. ;~} The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

It does not matter so much as what you eat at the meal. It is the calorie intake that is what you have to watch. Like right now. It is 🕙 (10:00pm) my time and lunch time is here. I am eating fried potatoes, scrambled eggs, a biscuit and gravy. All small portions. Looks like breakfast. Yumm. 😇 |

My target of opportunity for breakfast was 🢠Knorr Pasta Sides Cheddar Broccoli. 😃 Yep, it sure is and I usually get Strawberry Swirl or Fudge Swirl if Strawberry is out of stock, it's actually quite good for $5.99 for a 5L bucket of ice cream. This morning I had eggs and sausage of course. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

My target of opportunity for breakfast was 🢠Knorr Pasta Sides Cheddar Broccoli. 😃 I think the fancy name for Fudge Swirl is Fudge Royale, but when I was a kid I called it Chocolate Stripe. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |
