Today was home made peach muffins. I love the fresh fruit season. Sounds nice. I haven't had a good peach in ages. Cantaloupe has been good, lately. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

Since I had two margaritas tonight, I expect that tomorrow morning I will want "the hair of the dog that bit me". I will, however, probably have oatmeal. |

Eggs and sausage or pancakes, I'm not sure... The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Since I had two margaritas tonight, I expect that tomorrow morning I will want "the hair of the dog that bit me". I will, however, probably have oatmeal. I absolutely LOVE eating oatmeal-raisin cookies for breakfast!!! I find, however, that when doing so, one needs to "spin it" a little. For example, do not proclaim aloud, "I am eating oatmeal cookies for breakfast." Instead utter, "I am really enjoying the taste and texture of these hand crafted, locally sourced, organic oatmeal breakfast discs." See? Sounds much healthier that way, doesn't it? (If anyone is still wondering why I am failing miserably in the Lose Weight With Monday thread, this post should pretty much clear things up for you...) |

The Little Debbie Oatmeal crème pies, straight from the Vending Machine devil, are my downfall. I bake. I bake a lot. There is absolutely no reason for my husband to still have "a thing" for that hussy, Little Debbie!!! Sigh... I suppose a man never really gets over his first love. |

Debra and I were an item for many years to be sure. Une petite amie I can't forget, to be sure. She was quite a cupcake, but then she left to become a hostess at the Madison estate. I guess working at that nutty bar downtown wasn't good enough for her. I guess this ding dong just was another notch in her belt. I'm sure she's laughing about it to this day. And this definitely the losing thread, can't win here, at least not in the usual way at least. My downfall? Ice cream, strawberry swirl x2... During the weekday i'm usually in a hurry. I'm not very good at getting up in the morning so it's always a rush. Ergo it'll be something simple, toast usually (with homemade bread from the breadmaker) with just butter, or if i'm feeling adventurous, peanut butter. If i'm really in a hurry i grab something i can eat on the way, like an apple. Weekends are a bit slower, though since i have a habit of going kayaking or mountaineering or whatever, there's often still a time limit. A frequent choice is bacon or sausages, with hash browns, in bread buns; multiplied by however hungry i'm feeling. This is great because it cooks in the oven while i'm in the shower, so i can make more efficient use of time. Life on earth is the global equivalent of not storing things in the fridge. |

What's going on in that kayaking picture? It looks like a wire fence above the water. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |
