Message 1568422 - Posted: 6 Sep 2014, 22:27:57 UTC - in response to Message 1568417.

Or you could download and run the v0.42a installer from the link in my message 1560695

That is the one I downloaded. I made sure to use the app for the 200 series of Nvidea cards.

Well as my APs were self destructing and I dont have more than 35 APs left on this host. I will try most anything.
Now downloading the r_2667 and then changing the name of the app in the app_info.xml file sounds daunting. But how many times is that r-2667 named in that file? Or do I need to scan the whole file changing the app names?
Id like to try what ever works.

I guess 6 times.
3 sections 2 times each. IIRC

Most text editors - certainly including Notepad - include a 'replace all' tool. For Notepad, the hotkey is ctrl-h: that's what I use for preparing the aistubs in the first place.

I think it might be 7. With .exe also declared at the beginning in <file_info> just after <app> & then 6 more under each <app_version> like you said.

That's why 'replace all' is such a useful tool. It catches the ones you forgot about.

I down loaded the r_2667 apps. But I cant open it untill I get the correct 7zip file. The one I did try wanted to load me up with all sorts of crapware I do not want and a browser I dont need. So untill I can find a crap free version I will hold hold off on trying r_2667 version.
What I did do was rerun lunatics and did not check the run AP on my GPU. As that was causing all my errors on AP.
Id like to thank Mike, TBar, Richard, And Hal 9000 for the help they gave me.

Im an old dog trying to learn new tricks.

Always get 7-zip from the original website: http://7-zip.org/
It will redirect you to sourceforge: http://sourceforge.net/projects/sevenzip/ with the original software without any crap.
Never download any software from any sort of software portals, they all suck without exception! :(

Yes I have found that out the hardway.
And Its allways nice to have a few beers before you completly wipe out your hard drive:)
I think I will just pass on running AP on this 7 year old GTS250. Might try two MB at a time in the future though. Better yet would be a new build. But thats not in the cards yet.

James i had the same trouble with my GT 220 card you can still run AP's just use the older Bionic 7.0.64 and the older Lunatics 0.41 and you won't have a problem that's what i did and no problems .

Which reminds me now i got the GTX 650 in that 1 i should upgrade both the client and Lunatics

So Richard i did not test your fix but thanks . With the prob's i got with PSU , mobo's, i decided to use 2 PSU's on the Intel machine 1 to run the GPU and the other just runs the rest so i didn't test it and now i don't need to sorry .

I had no choice as the PSU running the AMD wont run 2 GPU's (crappy 850watt) and the PSU running my intel doesn't have a power plug for a GPU
So a friend said i got a older PSU can you use that , i think mmmm maybe so i did and now all cool

I had to look up how to turn the PSU on shorting 2 pins ,but no prob works well

So very sorry i did not test the fix Richard but it wasn't for nothing as i may yet test it when i get a better PSU for the AMD and put the GT 220 back in the intel
