4, I gave the kitchen help the century off. Carlos, that may be more bacon than even I can eat. But I'll give it a good try! Hoping I fall asleep soon. Ping! David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri. |

Late-night win after a musical outing. An Irish-American couple I know (Noel is from Donegal, Patricia is from Visalia) are the core of a band called Tipperary Stew. They opened tonight for a fellow who calls himself Mundy, from Birr, Co. Offaly. Doing a gig in San Francisco on Saturday, tonight was a tune-up with a pick-up band. Knowing what Noel and Patricai play, I was expecting Mundy to be a typical Irish pub singer - nope. Much of wnat he played tonight sounded country-rock, with an Iriah accent. Several of his own tunes, he segueied into a Doors medly, or Springsteen, or Warren Zevon. Very high-energy, very entertaining, but NOT an Irish pub singer. $10 cover, I got my money's worth. Now to find his CDs online..... But it's after midnight local, it's still 80F outside, and I'm still buzzing from the gig. Glad I had that nap-attack around 1:30 pm....... Winning on a sunny Friday morning. As expected, I slept poorly, but am now upright and functional, if not yet up to full speed. 0900 meeting, them probably a late breakfast and some banking business. Donald Infernal Optimist / Submariner, retired |

Ok, no good news here. My pneumonia got worse and I have to take heavier meds. Because of those meds I have to stop taking my Sipralexa, means I could get quite depressed. On top of that COPD has been diagnosed as well, I feel like a wreck and I need a drink, maybe two. The only good news is I get to stay home for one more week... rOZZ Music Pictures |
