I had a problem with my computer , it would not connect to the server. I deleted the program from my computer and downloaded Version 7.2.42(x64). The Bionic Mgr. comes up but it won't connect to server.
I get the following message "Bionic client has exited unexpectedly 3 times within the last 3 minutes. Would you like to restart it again?"
Any one know the problem and how to fix it? I know the internet is working!

P.S.Sorry it's only happening on 1 computer

The problem you are experiencing is local to your machine and has nothing to do with the internet or connecting to the server.

[nitpicking] Also note it is spelled BOINC, not Bionic. :-) [/nit picking]

If your BOINC Core Client keeps crashing, we'll have to find out why. Did you install BOINC as a service on the machine in question? Do you see anything in the Windows Event Viewer which might be related to this application crash?

It looks like it might be a permission issue based on this post with the same error.

Well I am finally back up and running. I thank all of you that helped. I wish I could give a reason that it's working, except I don't have a clue. I cleared it off my computer and reloaded it many times. I tried it as administrator and without. I checked the the firewall to make sure it wasn't being blocked. I tried different versions, and finally it came up and is now running.

THANKS AGAIN,
