Neither winning nor not winning after lunch. Three-cheese (one of which I think was pepper jack -- bleah) Panini (why does IE keep automatically capitalizing Panini?) and sweet potato fries. Got back to my desk and topped it off with a Reese's peanut butter egg left over from Easter.

BTW, in this new school year, I have to do a period and a half of supervision in the upper part of the library, starting at a few minutes to noon. They're supposed to get me a computer to use up there, but I'll have to be discreet about what I do on it. My boss is NOT, repeat not happy about this. (Neither am I, for that matter.)

Ping!

Micro$oft released some bad updates on the 2nd and are supposed to be releasing a fix for the fixes. ;o\

Well, this oughta be interesting. First paycheck since they decided to rejigger the pay schedule...

And it is, indeed, for ONE DAY. Not even the extra day, just the one regular day.

Grrrrrrrrr.

Did they state when the new fixes would be out??? I haven't updated, yet, this month; and, would like the complete fixes.

[think about happy things.....] [riding trains] [French silk pie] [cheese omelets with sausage and bacon] [smacking the faces of administrators and school board members who don't understand just how little we make and that we can't afford to get one day's pay in four weeks] [riding trains]

:( But also another member of the team :) It seems a similar spec phone to my own, here's my task list on beta. To give an idea of the run times, mine gets about two done each week at ten hours crunching a day.

Mine still often does about 45 hours on a task. Shorties run around 15-17 hours.

Does seem to be about 45 hours ish for a task, spread over a few days. Must be what it was like crunching back in the olden days :)
