About 3 months ago, after having a tad too many beverages I decided to move the piece of paper with my safe combination on it to a place where I could find it but burgulars couldn't. Consequencly I have searched high and low for that piece of paper and tried hundreds of times to remember the safe combination without success. So yesterday I finally found it. It took me half an hour with a drill and a reciprocating saw to cut the bottom out of the safe and threre it was IN THE SAFE. Derr... |

Has to be some sort of moral in here like don't drink and hide the combination or if you drink, don't bolt the safe to the floor. What do you think? |

I feel for ya Monday, looks like the time is possibly the right 'time to buy a new safe'... The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Lets see, what other dumb things have I done? Oh yes, I was scrubbing my Rolex in the shower with a toothbrush and soap and I dropped it from chest height onto the cast iron bath. Now it is gaining 7 seconds a day. It used to only gian 0.4 seconds a day. I shudder to think how much it will cost to get it fixed. |

I had some nice small zucchini on a plant. I decided to let them go another day. Three days later, I need to make soup. |

I don't remember the details but, Rolex can be adjusted by leaving them sitting stem up or down over night for several nights to adjust up or down. I took a quick look and can not find this info now. Twice I sent mine to factory for speeding up, maybe that's where I got the info. I cannot ware mechanical watches for they will not keep accurate time on my arm. ... |

For the best accuracy I put my watch crown down at night. My watch has been damaged and will need regulating by Rolex. |

I had some nice small zucchini on a plant. I decided to let them go another day. Three days later, I need to make soup. My father used to do that a lot. He would water the garden every day, but he couldn't bend down to look for fruit under the braod leaves. So every 3 days I got to check the garden, and at least once a week, we had a big one like that, so we had stuffed zucchini for dinner. Donald Infernal Optimist / Submariner, retired |

My carport is just wide enough for me to get my car into with room to open the driver's side door and get into my power chair. There is a tall shrub on the far corner of the carport that has branches that grow into the carport. This year when I asked the gardener to trim it back I guess he didn't understand why I wanted it done so in an attempt to keep a balanced look he didn't trim enough away. Well, for most of the time I have lived here my right outside mirror has plowed through the branches with just a few scapes, until last week. I guess I was just a little too far toward the bush and as I was backing out I head a crunch and a pop and now my mirror is dangling down the side of my car and I hate to guess how much it will cost to fix. It is a power mirror controlled from the driver's side and used to automatically adjust itself when backing up.
