First, let me start by saying I do vote. Sometimes the candidate I vote for wins but most times they don't. Every two years I get a slight feeling that I would rather live where there is a benevolent dictator in charge, but I doubt that place exists. The primaries here in Florida are in late August and by now every street corner is littered with little signs that basically say "vote for me and I will get you everything you want". The candidates rarely discuss matters that they have any control over. It's all about getting elected. The only people who benefit from this madness are the advertising agencies. Plus my mailbox every day is full of little to big postcards saying the same thing that the signs along the roadways do. I am promising myself that this year I will take my absentee ballot and sit in front of my computer to learn as much as I can about each candidate. Those who have their dog included in the required campaign photo will be rejected immediately. Those who promise everything will get eliminated as well as those who say nothing about everything will get eliminated probably leaving a very short list of candidates to choose between. Then, after the election results are in I will see how many of the candidates I voted for actually won.

Bob,

There is an easier method.

Sort all the crap into piles of who it is for. Weigh each pile. Vote for the one who sent the least. He doesn't have special interest bribe money behind him.

Thinking back. The ONLY candidates I've ever voted FOR was, Reagan (2d term) and Bush Sr. (2nd term).

Wonder what that implies?
With Reagan it shows you were fooled by a brain dead actor playing POTUS.

Thank God, over the decades, I was only fooled once. Those who state their Candidate(s) (Left or Right) are Great. Are fooled ALL of the time.
Before I could vote I campaigned for Lyndon Johnson because Barry Goldwater was a war monger. Johnson promptly drafted me, ha ha funny joke on me.

Gov. Rick Perry of Texas Is Indicted on Charge of Abuse of Power

AUSTIN, Tex. — A grand jury indicted Gov. Rick Perry on two felony counts on Friday, charging that he abused his power last year when he tried to pressure the district attorney here, a Democrat, to step down by threatening to cut off state financing to her office.

AxelROD, A Super High-Powered DEM/Lib and other DEM/Libs are Pushing Back on R. Perry's Troubles.

Why? 'Cause 'it' Reflects HUGELY on Hustlin'Hussein Our Dear Leader. PitifulPeacePrizin'WARMongerin'POTUS has, let's say, Done The Same and WORSE.

So, if Perry is Guilty, DroneHitMan's Future with The Law is Perilous, Indeed.

So far. Looks like Over Reach (possibly Criminal - Abuse of Power) by The District Attorney.
A jury of his peers indited him. Did they "over reach" or indite a "ham sandwich"? Swift-boat the MFer; welcome to the jungle. The over under on him smiling for his mug shot is 40% no smile.
