I'm trying to imagine the scenes, in driverless cars, when they come out. Drinking while being driven to the pub. Awesome :) Cheers :) Member of the People Encouraging Niceness In Society club. |

I'm trying to imagine the scenes, in driverless cars, when they come out. Though they have a few out there, it's a long way off before just anyone will able to have one. I'm guessing 10 years yet though I might be wrong. Cheers everybody Life is short so don't sip Beer speaks, people mumble |

Jim most of these cars are coming out with safties like rear ending which would save on 100 car pile up's and many other things, a true car that I would let drive itself needs more fine tunning. Cheers everybody Life is short so don't sip Beer speaks, people mumble |

Hello Julie, enjoy that beer and have a good sleep. Hello Mike, enjoy as many beers as you want. ;-) G'morning everyone. The parts I get shipped here come from a importer/distributor in Brisbane Grant, so they can take 3-4 days to get here. ;-) Cheers. |

Grant -- True, enough, on a longer time-span before auto-driving. A number of my friends do have the sensor system to avoid back-ending, etc. Sounds like a good start. There are (recent) articles out, however -- you've pbly. read them -- on state governments trying to work out the responsibilities in covering the accidents that would occur, with driverless cars. Who pays -- the car manufacturer, the on-board firmware manufacturer, the insurance company? There seems to be unanimity, in what I've read, that a no-fault type of insurance scheme will be needed. Something to think about; perhaps, more by our children. |

My mom was diagnosed with that a long time ago, and used to order a hamburger at McD's with two bottom buns on account of those sesame seeds. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |
