wow that puts a new spin on the logic of Leonardo Da Vinci who said there could not have been the great flood of Noah's ark as the water had nowhere to go . MM so it went back into the earth thanks for this info i need to do some thinking now |

De vinci said water always flows in a down wood direction and therefore the flood of noah's ark could not have happened as the whole world was cover'd and the water had nowhere to go according to the codex in the vault where it is kept. yep i know about the black sea and i did here about the other 2 but if there is more water under the earth then maybe it did happen and Bob Ballard is wrong about the black sea being the place of Noah's ark flood ? |

Well... in the days when no one knew anything about tectonic plate movements, finding the fossilized bones of fish etc at the top of mountains was bound to need some explaining-via-lots-of-water-catastrophe don't you think? :) Quite how anyone thought the water hung around as long as it did given they also thought the earth was flat is a mystery to me... :) Apologies :) not mocking anyone... :) just feeling mischievous :) |

I don't think this is mainstream science here. Not saying it isn't true but I would like to see this idea peer reviewed. 700 kilometers down it seems to me that any water would turn to steam and find it's way to the surface. I watched a doco the last week called Inside the Mind of Leonardo Da Vinci where the makers where allowed to enter the Vault where his personal journals where kept . They have 1000+ pages or so of the original text . It was written in a code which they called the Da Vinci Codex . It has a lot of his personal thoughts in it which was acted out by a actor a well know 1 i can't remember . So i was not being mischievous . I was saying in a off way to myself i wounder what Da Vinci would have thought if he had known about Ringwoodite . Does what i said make cents now .!! |

Leonardo drew beautiful maps of Arno and other rivers in Tuscany. They are mostly kept in Windosor Castle.I have a book "Leonardo genio e cartrografo" published by Instituto Geografico Militare, Firenze, 2003 but it does not include any map of seas and oceans. Tullio |

There are other 6 Codex. One of them, Codex Leicester, belongs to Bill Gates and was shown here in Milano a few years ago. Of course we have also the "Last supper" in Santa Maria delle Grazie church. Tullio |
