My machine: ID: 7023772 Looking at the task list shows "abandoned" and there are no work units in progress. Looking at the machine itself shows that all of the tasks are still there and running as they normally do. They have 8/21 deadlines. The data and time are correct on that computer, also. As far as I know, absolutely nothing happened to the computer. Does anyone have a theory? |

My machine: ID: 7023772 Is there anything in your BOINC logs at 17:34:07 UTC when all of the tasks got stuffed? SETI@home classic workunits: 93,865 CPU time: 863,447 hours Join the [url=http://tinyurl.com/8y46zvu]BP6/VP6 User Group[ |

My machine: ID: 7023772 I've looked through everything I know to look through and I see nothing unusual anywhere. Nothing for that time in any of the BOINC logs that I can find and nothing in the Event Viewer for the machine. It's still merrily crunching the work that BOINC thinks is gone. |

You can safely reset the project on that machine, because BOINC truly has abandoned that work. It will not be used by BOINC and you will not get credit for it. Any tasks that you've been assigned after the abandonment will be resent to you as "lost" and will be ok. I've seen this happen from time to time. Search the forums for "abandoned tasks" and you'll see other cases. Edit: Looks like the search doesn't return any of the "old" abanoned threads. |

Nevermind. I reset the project and installed Lunatics' again. I hated to lose any AP work, but it is what it is. I appreciate the help. |
