Raccoon gives cops hell in beauty shop rescue Story from Sweden:) A boy and his four classmates, all in the 12-13 years of age, was skiing off-piste. The boys went about 400 yards off the slopes when the attack occurred. - They had the misfortune to go straight across a bear's den. Two managed to go straight over, but the third fell. The bear woke up by the unexpected visit, and pulled down the boy in the den. The boy struggled to get free, but the bear bit him in both legs and scratched his back, police confirm. The boy's rescue became his friends. - They have done it to be, to help each other. For obvious reasons, they have been screaming bloody murder, waving sticks and skis. They did everything to defend themeself, says Jens Wilhelmson. The bear finally released and disappeared into the woods. - They have done really well considering what could have happened. |

I can't +1 the raccoon story because the raccoon was most likely killed so it could be tested for rabies. That's what the story says. :-( ~Sue~ |

'Wild Life' report from today. The cat still enjoys the window sill:) A black and white cat met a black and white magpie. Both where very angry with each other. The cat was waving his tail and the magpie croaked! |
