If it is more than a year and you've seen no babies, then it is a boy. If it is less than a year and you are unsure, pick an androgynous name so that it will work either way when you find out. I honestly don't remember when it first showed up. I'm pretty sure it was one of three kits that followed its mother into my backyard some time ago. If I'm right, then I could go back and do some personal research to see when I first posed about it/them. I have to say that time passes unnoticed in my life. I don't have many milestones to mark time. No children or other family around to say "it happened right after Junior's birthday," or anything like that. I have taken to keeping a "milestones" file so I can go back and see, for example, when a certain cat showed up or when one disappeared. :-( It's the only way for me to remember what/when.
