There are actually several Weiner-mobiles, not just one. My baby brother used to have the job of scheduling them. He had to plot their routes and decide where they should go, for maximum publicity per mile. (He now has a much, much, much better job with the same company, but hey... ya gotta start some place... ) Anyway, I used to tease my baby brother because it was up to him to decide whether or not a community event was "Weiner-mobile worthy". None of my personal parties ever made the cut. Geez!!! What good is it to have "connections" if your "connections" actually have scruples?!!!

The original Weiner-mobile is on display at the Henry Ford Museum just outside of Detroit. This is a place where many of us techies regularly go to worship. I understand they have already placed a bid on Celttooth's butt.

Google maps finds some interesting things.

I guess it has to park somewhere ...
Oh I wish I was an ...

What are we supposed to be looking at?

If the 45 degree view didn't load, then it is a empty parking lot, otherwise there is a wiener mobile in the parking lot.

I guess it didn't load. :-(

Mac & Cheese with grilled hot dogs, or bratwurst, or grilled SPAM, or....

And whenever I grill sausage or SPAM, I open the sliding glass door a bit for ventilation, and all the kitties come sit on the step and look hopeful through the screen door....

HHMM, maybe I can get that visitor to show up. Ang still thinking about Pluto.
The more resistance I get, the more inclined I am to give him a home.

Actually the cat's name is Jupiter, but if you adopted him I'm pretty sure he would be grateful to have you call him whatever you wished.

In case others are wondering, Jupiter is a young male cat who is up for adoption in our area. He is being showcased at a pet store where I buy litter and food for our own menagerie. Eric and I really cannot commit to another cat at this time. Jupiter has been on display for several months now and it breaks my heart. He is a beautiful boy and he really does not belong in a cage.

I have two dogs here. I have never adopted any pet of my own. I just ended up taking over care giver responsibilities of two chihuahuas.

OOPS, well I remembered he was named after a Planet.
OK, since I have a soft spot for rescues and Tinkerbell will need a companion sooner or later, I hope later, I make this commitment.
By the end of this week my spare/storage room should be painted and fit for a get acquainted room. I think Latte the Grouch would be the biggest obsticle.
SO, if he still doesn't have a home after that, I will give him one.
Then we will just have work out how to get him to Stockton.
I can hear the Cookietaster already.............I told you NO!

OH crap, Ang just ask them to slap an adopted sign on his cage and see if they are willing to get him to Stockton.

Please let me know what Rescue, so I can make a donation come Tax time.

Someone should take a screen shot and post it for those of us who aren't
able to see it (me).

Ulibelle, you have a heart the size of Jupiter... the planet that is, not the cat.

We will talk via pm about the logistics.
