Eric and I have lived with seven cats over the years. Eva is the smartest cat to ever grace our abode. She can open all of our sliding doors. She is a darter and a dasher. She can get us to drop whatever we are doing to attend to her needs. She recently put a hole in the bottom of our box spring and now she runs around under our mattress chasing imaginary mice at night. If I do not look well rested, I have Eva to blame...

Grace likes to open doors, that's why the reachable ones have child safety locks installed on them, to keep Her out, She still likes to try and open the doors to the area under My kitchen sink, door size doesn't matter(as long as She thinks She can open it, She'll try to open a door), not to a cat who can jump 4'2" straight up...

Just in case anyone thinks I was harassing the deer, all my photos were taken with the zoom.
There are notices like this all over the park

Everyone I saw was keeping a safe distance away.

In my country we have also wild deers roaming around. Not just in parks.
Some weeks ago I saw a moose who was walking in the car park lot.
Wolves in the central part of Stockholm is rare but it happens.

And to dog owners. Keep them leeched!

I met one dog once when I was walking in the forest where there are not allowed.
Suddenly we met each other. He got scared. I got scared.
I saw how his muscels went stiff. Mine too.
Anyway after a second we went calm;)

Why do you feel the need to repost that picture???

Probably for the same reason people post pictures of bacon on this forum?

If you look at the second image you will note that "Bullwinkle and" is crossed off. It was a United states cartoon that you may not have seen but we grew up with. It was an attempt at a not real funny joke. Don't worry because I didn't get it right off until I took a closer look.

Scarecrow didn't. I was the first one.
What the Swede is doing is called animal preservation. (Chris did I spelled this correct?)
The moose was 21 years old and a burden to the flock
It is not Fox hunting.
A British tradition that is unlegal now at last.

Quite correct it is illegal, but it still goes on, as does badger baiting and hare coursing. That is a reason why I am a proud paid up member of the Hunt Saboteurs Association.

But thats awful. What are the police doing about it?
In Sweden there are criminals who shoots wolves.
There are aprox 400 wolves in Sweden today:(

btw I dont Think you have been hunting at all.
There are no hunters who are proud to kill an innocent animal.
Those who I met are Always scared and shaking when shooting.
But everyone likes the meat.
Thats why he smiles.

No lets talk about something nicer Chris.

There is not much they can do. They can't patrol every field in the country, nor can the RSPCA. Cock fighting and dog fighting with pitbulls still goes on mainly in Northern England with organised gangs, yet it's been illegal for decades. There is big money in it. And yet we are portrayed as a nation of animal lovers. I try to do my bit on the political side.

But England is a small country and dont have the deep forest as we have.
Dont the locals report this to police?

She looks very much like my Kiwi.
