My stepmom likes turkey bacon. I think of it as fake pork. No disrespect intended towards Miss Piggy.

A burger with bacon on it sounds good, but sadly it'd be to heavy at this time of the morning, so I'll go for a coffee and a slice of toast please.

Cheers.

Here you go.

I dont necessarily need to meet the cow just because i like burgers.

I will never understand to my dying day how people can eat what they have previously seen alive. There are restaurants where you can point to a fish swimming in a tank. They will catch it, kill it, and cook it. 15 minutes later there it is dead on your plate. Totally horrific. Yes I do eat meat fish and poultry, but I am becoming more veggie as time goes by.

I do the same with my goldfishfish, bit of butter in a hot pan. Waste not want not :)

Back in the day, a large majority of humans got their food by hunting it down and killing it, just like all the rest of the carnivores in the forest or jungle. It is only in modern times that so many have become detached from the methods of procuring our meat. My father was a hunter and fisherman in his youth in Wisconsin. I have fished but not hunted. I don't know if I could kill and butcher a cow or a turkey or a deer. I have friends who do, I'm grateful that I don't have to.

There are some who say that vegetables scream silently when they are picked from the vine or pulled from the ground. Whatever the case may be, whatever we eat has to live, and die, before we can eat it. That is the way of the world.

Well if there's ever a green meteor shower I'll be sure to stay indoors with my blackout curtains firmly shut.

I honestly don't know what I'd like. I'm still full of the breakfast they dished up in the Main Office this morning.

However, I thought you all might be interested in this tidbit of information.
