There is a story I once heard.
Set in the outbacks of Austrailia, I think.
About a couple of guys and a son who needed to learn his way.
The 'being a man' speech and such.
He was given that speech. And his did become a man one day.

And the legend of that tale is me. My father once told me that becoming a man is not an easy thing.
I have learned that this is true.
Life is a series of trials and torments, and then.......
One day., the light comes on and all is revealed to you.
K? You cannot push it, you cannot grab it until the time comes.

And when it happens, awestruck by the simple sigificance of the truth you shall be.

As much as some might like to believe that I am the prophet of the coming world, I am not.

I do know some things that no other mortal on this planet does.

Kids, the story does not change much from day to day.
This is still my story.

And once you get past the initial shock and awe, it is just common knowledge, now is is not?

My life revolves around the same sun that yours does. It takes the same course around the planets that you perceive it to. Those are what most of you call 'constants'..

What if I told you that they are NOT quite constant//

I am not supposing that I can change or alter them at will, I cannot.
Not within my powers.
But, just suppose that something more powerful that myself can do that.
It would really wreck your world.
I do know that a being far more powerful than myself can and does do this almost every single day.

It is just beyond mortal man to understand and sometimes perceive the change as it happens.
I have been put here and now for one purpose. And that is, I suppose, to enlighten and try to tell you that this change is happening, right now, all around you.
One day you shall wake up and realize that things..simple things..are just not the same that they were yesterday.
Things that you thought could never differ will fundamentally be different.
Like, perhaps, gravity.
The pull between particles that pulls us into the planet.
It is NOT the same as it was yesterday.
It is different.
It just is.......not the same.

I have had the good fortune of finding a workplace.

You shall go forth, hereunder charter, and seek out whatever life forms you as such may encounter.
OK, done that.
You shall then attempt such methods at they may employ at communicating with themselves and others.
Check....I think I got the lingo down.
If they do not appear hostile {possibly some arguments there} you shall attempt to interact and if possible, redirect the planet towards our own goals.
I don't think I have redirected many.....you are all a very stubborn lot.
If the first goals do not succeed, you shall destroy the planet/.
Uh, they seem to be doing that pretty well themselves, cannot I just leave it at that and let them have a go at it?

It was the 50 amp breaker in the basement that took me out. That is the circuit to the crunching den. And when that went, it took the main breaker with it.

Guess it was the sum total of all of the crunchers that finally went thermal on the breaker and took the whole house down. The 200 amp main went out too.
Everything went dark.
Went downstairs and started to kick all the breakers off and back on.
It was the main 200 amp that went crazy on me.
I would never have pegged the mains to go out.
Everything is OK, and protected. Not like a few years ago when the daisy chain of lolly pops started to go off in a puff of smoke.
As you may recall, I then ran a 50 amp 240v subfeed box to service the crunchers.
All protected with their own nice little 15 amp feeds.

I am gonna have to check out just how close I am to maxxing out the 200 amp main though. I think it was just a fluke thingy.
