It doesn't get better than this.

LOL....
I think kitty is actually enjoying the ride. Priceless.

I agree Mark, that kitty did seem to like the ride. :) The video went to the dogs. ;)

Oh, I'm quite normal...in my own little way.

Off to the hardware store now to start picking up my shipment of kitty litter.

I buy Worlds Best brand cat litter, since it's made out of corn or corn husks, multiple cat formula(a red bag), Vons only sells the red package, the package doesn't say which, this is the one that won't void a warranty on an automated litter box, clay needs a bag as does wood(pine), I used to use clay litter in an automated box, the motor doesn't like it, so a replacement box has to be bought, not the best idea really. Adding weights to the rake is recommended, I'd rather use weights as the weights work, lubricating does nothing on colder nights/days, 8oz of stick on tire weights works, 24/7/365.

Well, that task is accomplished and crossed off of the list.
600 pounds of Tidy Cats' best....
The tail end of the Olds wuz draggin' a bit...LOL. Riding on the bump stops for sure. A 1990 Cutlass Ciera ain't exactly a pickup truck. But it handled the chore in good stead, and the springs came back up when unloaded.

So the kitties are well stocked with litterbox essentials for 7 months or so. Beats having to tussle with a couple of bags when I am out just getting groceries. And a better price on the lot as well.

Meowhappykitties.

Corn based litter worked well in my automatic box, but my next purchase was Swheat brand. Its clumping properties are similar to the corn, but it's a little finer grained, more like the clay. I just bought two more bags of it on sale at Pet Supplies Plus.

Have not yet needed to put weights on the rake, but its track does need a good cleanout of the residual clay.

Well I've never seen that brand out here, but that's not surprising, space is limited, clay takes up the majority of the litter on the shelves here, both brands are flushable at least. You have My sympathy David.

About ten streets away there is a really good looking cat, it has brown and black stripes, a bit like a tiger.
