Just don't know where this is going with my Tigger kitty.
She is still showing no signs of distress, but..........
The swollen glands on the right side of her neck have actually diminished just a bit, but the ones on the left side of her neck have swollen alarmingly.
It's almost like one of those sci fi movies where you see something crawling around under somebody's skin. Like something is running around in her body trying to find a place to hide......

I am not sure that whatever has got a hold of Tigger is going to let go..........
I am starting to fear the worst. Meanwhile, she is still up and about, and very attention seeking. Which I have spent many hours in the last few days giving to her.

I would have thought that her meds would have shown more effect by now, but it's only been a week. I have 3 more week's worth of it here, if she should grace me by hanging on that long.

It is hell dealing with a sick child. And I consider my cats as my children, as I have no offspring of my own. And care for them as if they were.

Please pray for Tigger.

Uli was of course, asking me about Tigger.

Well....
Tigger is still active and seems to be in fair spirits.
However, I am dismayed that her meds don't seem to be having much effect after 3 weeks.
The swelling in one lymph node in her neck has gone down, but the other side is the same or slightly worse, her meow is a bit hoarse, and now a large swelling is present on the right side of her face below the ear.
I have a phone consultation to make with her vet tomorrow to determine where we go from here.

She is still eating and drinking well, and still loves to crawl up on my chest and be cuddled when I go to bed each night.
Hope remains, but I am not as optimistic as I was a couple of weeks ago.

Of course, we all knew that Mark.

It seems that Tigger is holding her own, but it does look like a long lifes journey is maybe entering it's final stage. But while there is quality of life, life should go on. Wishing you and Tigger all the best.

I think everybody knows that Tigger's best interests shall always be foremost in my mind. If it comes to the time when that requires that I must release her, it shall be so.
I am not ready to give up on her yet.
She came down to the kitchen tonight as I was making my midnight snack before retiring, and meowed for her special treats (mushy food) that I have been giving her....both as a treat for her because she is ill, and to mix in a few drops of the herbal medicine I want to try for her. Her appetite and demeanor are still OK.
