Thank you Mark.

You're welcome.
Kitty birthdays are so very special, you see, because they don't get to have as many of them as we do.

I found out something interesting tonight, Grace does not like the smell of a cleaned surface that has the smell of bleach on that surface, clorox in this case, yeah Stater Bros makes a cleaner with clorox bleach in it, cleans floors and greasy stoves real good and the cleaning has made My legs a bit sore too. But the cleaner cut though stuff that I'd tried for years to clean.

Well, that's not hard to understand....
Bleach is nasty stuff, and kitties have very sensitive noses.

Yeah, She'd never smelled that before, still that cleaner does work, though some surfaces took sometime to clean. All for breakfast, I'm having a guest over.

Use alcohol to clean the surface it evaporates rather fast and does not smell afterwards

Word of warning.....do NOT hit the link if you are slight of heart.
Turn back NOW.

This bit has torn me up and has had me in a tangle all week now.

A vet who killed a cat.
Here is the story....

I have held off posting about this until now, because I was so angry and hurt and in denial about the act that I would have gone even more ballistic than I may at this time.

Kristen Lindsey may burn in hell, at least in kitty hell, for what she did.
Shot a kitty through the head with an arrow. And crowed about it on facebook.
And a freaking vet, she was. To do no harm, WHAT?

She has had death threats.....I shall not go there.
But, Karma has a funny way of catching up with you, Kristen.

This was not a simple, feral cat that she killed with her bow and arrow.
Tiger was a life force. And, as it turns out, not a feral, but a beloved pet.
And Kristen took it.

As one who adores all kitty existence on this planet, I have been quite taken aback this week, and cry for Tiger.

Here are all the links, and all the fire.
Tiger lives.

Tigger alert.....
She is in nuzzle mode, mashing her face into my leg........

And I am a bit disconcerted that NOBODY took issue with Kristen the kitty killer.

You all really disappoint me some times.

All I can really say is that it was a thing. Now with her face on that post. Employers will know who she is and that she has now poisoned many of her future chances at gainful employment. Euthanasizing a animal should be a last resort and done with dignity.

I didn't react because A: I just read your post now, and B: I'm taking your caution and NOT reading up on the story. I don't want that kind of emotional turmoil. I've been avoiding it on http://theanimalrescuesite.com too.

I have severe anxiety problems, so I don't need to read up on it, SA can keep Me awake at night, so like David I don't need it either, I do care though.

UPDATE to the story Mark posted about:Texas Board Revokes License of Cat-Killing Vet

The Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners has moved to revoke the license of a veterinarian who bragged about fatally shooting a cat with a bow and arrow.
The Houston Chronicle reports that the board filed a formal complaint against Dr. Kristen Lindsey on Wednesday.

According to the complaint, Lindsey shot an orange male cat through the head with a bow and arrow on April 15. She posted a photo of herself on Facebook, smiling and holding up the arrow with the cat hanging from its shaft.

The board's complaint stated that the cat, named Tiger, was a neighbor's pet.
The Austin County district attorney presented its investigation of Lindsey to an Austin County grand jury on June 24, but the grand jury declined to indict her.
