Thanks for your concern. Was in and out of hospital. Doctors determined that I have a brain. More to come. Need a higher Tesla MRI, not available here. There is a blood clot, plus an aneurysm clip left in from prior surgeries. Robin's situation hits close to home, as my mother died from it and cancer. I'm showing some signs of PD, and am scared s***less. That's life. That's why I live at the sea. Wishing you the best CC :) Member of the People Encouraging Niceness In Society club. |

CC Sending you care, concern and cats... Ziggy and Tessie. They did adopt Tinkerbell. The interloper Jefferson is locked out until sometime next year. Since he has a home, the kitty window is closed. Rescue requests can be sent to me in Juli 2015 via PM. Pluto will always be a planet to me. Seti Ambassador Not to late to order an Anni Shirt |

Thank You all for kind words. I wasn't so hard for me because I moved to another town 8 years ago, so I met Veera only couple times in year. But she always remembered me and attacked my left foot, specially big toe if I wasn't wearing socks in summer. I miss those events, even she was "evil" to catch my toe when I taking sip of coffee. Hot coffee in lap is not funny... Well, others did think it was funny :) Funny memories will stay forever. But it was crushing to my cousins two daughters, they are younger than Veera, so she was there with them always, all-days and nights. I did forward all of Your kind words to them, they did thank You all too, and extra-special thanks for anniet for poem You did send to me in PM. Veera's last photo, after 17th birthday special meal, her favorite liver, getting sleepy. |

We have 2 cat's that 'just turned up' at different times (about a year apart) Kat-Kat (aka 'Flash') found very small kitten and brought her home. Because she's a 'Hemingway'(polydactyl) we called her Pauli. Pauli, being 'extra cute' holding onto my hand so she can 'wash' my fingers Kat-Kat, totally crashed out [/img] Pauli and Kat-Kat, she 'shares' his breakfast then goes and eats her's BTW, see the 'hello kitty' in his stripes? LOL I'm not a complete idiot, but, I'm working on it. I have an opinion and I'm not afraid to use it |

Thank you for sharing PJ. Ditto :) They're beautiful PJ :) While I'm here... Does anyone know anything about looking after a cat that has developed paralysed back legs? :( My sister is going to India in a few months and it was always understood that I would be taking in her cat Bagheera. He's lovely :) (I fell in love with him when we had him for about a week as a kitten before my sister could come and collect him. That was two years ago.) Anyway... he disappeared Friday and was finally located at a veterinary surgery last night. He'd been taken there by someone who found him in their garden unable to do more than just drag himself about. He's already incurred £600 veterinary fees (lord knows for what because it sounds like they've done nothing except keep him in a cage since Saturday night) and my brother-in-law is refusing to pay a further £250 for an x-ray to be done to determine what might be wrong. So they've taken him home. I'm not happy. My brother-in-law forks out thousands each year on his (please forgive my terminology, it is not meant to be offensive, it's just I'm feeling a bit aggrieved) bible-flogging trips abroad and many hundreds on playing golf and his other hobbies etc, and I know they could afford the x-ray but he's adamant that Bagheera is "just a cat". I don't know why I expected more from a very religious man who's been in a wheelchair from the age of nineteen, but I did :( And yet the expectation is still that I will take Bagheera in when they emigrate. And the stupid part is that I know I would, and I'm angry because he knows that and I think is taking advantage of it. Any advice would be appreciated. edit: I would be introducing him to a house already teeming with very able-bodied cats and I can't imagine that will be easy for him poor love :( |
