In this case, I wrote it on a piece of paper, but still, what I typed here is all I had on the paper when it popped into my head.

It's a word I thought of totally at random, and not at all something I would expect myself to think of or associate with myself. Much more of an Annie or Angela kind of word.

No more guesses? Sometimes I think this thread is for the birds.

Nope. If you have something to say, say it.

Indeed! :) I have thunk and thunked... and it has suddenly hit me...

it's the yet to evolve... whooppirwill... a three legged bird capable of breaking the speed of light when flying backwards and um... not crashing...

and of course it's cousin to be - the willowphroip! So named due to the joyful "phroip-phroip" call it will make as it flies through the trailing branches of weeping willows

No...?

Pillow or whip?

Go away and come back with proper words?

...Like the whorlpipi owl?

:))))))))

EDIT: assuming I have interpreted the bird references as clues of course :)

Is all this joking, or do you still not have it?

You obviously have done so, and you were correct to.

The bold word is very close. (Although the definition isn't.)

You people are killing me. You would think this word
was a song to solve.

Actually, they're killing me. So are you. I'm the one stuck waiting for someone to get it.
