Winning after doing other computer stuff all afternoon, in between watching reruns on TV. I just have too darn many interests; I don't have time for them all, even when I don't have to work. Welcome to the club...... Donald, do you generally get more humidity than Vic? This time of year (late July to mid-August) it gets very humid here in the South Valley. A big fat High-pressure system squats over the 4-corners area and pulls tropical moisture up from the Gulf of Mexico and into the San Joaquin Valley. Lots of cloud cover, humidity, and summer thunder storms - mostly in the Sierras, but some on the Valley floor. Not much rain, but lots of lightning, and an occassional forest fire. Don't know if Vic gets it as bad as we do. Being high desert, I would guess not, but you'll have to ask him. And if I may ask, what was your final rank? Yaaaawn.... Unlike yesterday, I'm getting up now instead of going back to bed after the euphemism. Maybe I'll get more done. Anyway, I have to get used to being up this early -- back to work next week. Ping! Afternoon win. Afternoon?! I'm thinking about going back to bed for a late morning nap. Attention TL04! Mrs. Miggins has Jammy Dodgers. I have already advised her to expect a number of tall blue objects to appear in Nooky Lane. Ping!
