Awoken by first the geese, then by the rain, and then more rain, and then the wind and rain....
Finally turned into quite a pleasant afternoon, still overcast and odd lumps of rain flying around (If out walking when the rain starts why does the first drop fly into my ear???)

Yesterday was fun, a tree got blown down and another is doing a good impression of the leaning tower of piza. Today was sunny until it went terrifically dark, chucked it down with strong winds and then went sunny again. All in the space of half an hour.

Yesterday and today, I'm glad the cover on my greenhouse wasn't on. Methinks it would be several miles away by now :)

100F/38C here today, mild summer temps for this area, compared to previous years that is. I think My brief stints of work on the house in the past and the weather have made My house a bit cooler, though far from perfect, but I'm slowly working on that.

Chilly and clouded @ 16°C. It stopped raining about an hour ago but it looks like there's still some rain up there.

Down in Devon for a rest, or so I thought. 19C and overcast outside, but we had torrential rain this morning and Dad's gutters overflowed. Was up on a ladder clearing out all the moss that had fallen off the roof and blocked them. Some break!

I was going to say it's good for the diet but you really don't need a diet so... sorry to hear Chris:(

It's raining again here...

Well there is definitely a lot of weather about today!

Just had the sort of storm I remember as a kid (were the storms bigger and louder or was it just you were smaller and more easily impressed).

Lost of forked lightening which I almost captured on camera!

It wasn't hitting the houses but somewhere more distant.

The reason the pics look a bit grainy was due to the fact it was raining felines and canines!!
