Kind of frustrating that the #1 says "No Team". If someone doesn't want to join a team you don't put them all on a team called "No Team"

I agree...
It's rather misleading that those who wish to freelance get grouped together as a team to compete against those who are organized into a true team.

Thumbs down from the kitties on that one.

I agree with both. My ideia is those who don´t have team must not be listend when you select team view not joined on a some kind of "no team" team.

Of course i have nothing against, and sure datacerters do a great job for the project, but I was warning some time ago, they must set them on a diferet level than the rest of the comunity or simple, there will be no race or challenge.

It´s something like try to make a race and you put a ferrari vs a bycicle.

But we need to agree, some of us wish to know more about the number of servrs and the real capacity of this datacerters, at least just to fill our curiosity.

If they don't, we'll have a single user at #1...

Personally I like the information.
It is like those that compete in the Olympics under no country. They group together & fly the Olympic flag in the place of a country. In the spirit of fun & competition.

They didn't choose a team to begin with-they obviously didn't want a team. Grouping them onto a team they didn't request is unethical and invalidates the results of the race

You could choose to mentally exclude them from the results?
Has this issue been raised the previous 2 years?
Perhaps request that in the future that those with no team be listed with team name of user?

Nobody is asking to exclude them from the results. Just exclude them from "Team" ranking, because the have chosen not to be a part of a team.

As you parallel with Olympics Games - so-called "Olympics" team is never in the ranking with other, national teams. But people competing w/o country flag are included in individual rankings...

It's correct. Showing a "No Team" does not make sense. The other both years the effect was not so much...
So we'll fade out this 'team' from team statistic (and in same way missing country information from country statistic). ASAP (I think tonight after work I'll begin).

To the other addressed point (data center vs. home user) - this year no changes. But I invite all in preparation of a possible fourth event next year to make proposals for alternatives. Please use the contact form on event page or send me a PN. (Our brain trust is not so big ;-) )
