Janneseti, those media links aren't evidence, they only continue the unsupported claim of Russian backed "terrorists". In any case, one article says the rebel leader there was born in southern Ukraine, and also that the representatives for Ukraine's ministry of emergency services mostly admit to supporting the separatists. I could use that information just as easily to support a case that the separatists are Ukrainian people acting in their own interests.

IF there is ever a real investigation by a neutral third party I wonder if they will rat each other out. Even if they let investigators on site will they be able to question whoever they want? I don't think so. The black box and voice recorded don't mean much as we know the plane was shot down. The only question is who pulled the trigger?

Im starting to belive that Russia is the one to blame for this. Its well known that in the Korean war they had pilots flying Mig 15's engaging US fighters. Also during Viet Nam, It is highly suspected they did the same.

Why would they not try the same tactic in an area they covete? IE a missle crew.

Cuz several of the Seperatist leaders are Russian nationals who in some cases even served in the Russian army. Then there is the fact that these seperatists started out with stuff that could be looted from army dump stores. Meaning pretty basic equipment and weapons. Not tanks, armored troop carriers, rocket artillery and BUK launchers. Someone has been supplying them, and given the rebels connection with Russia and the fact that they are desperately holding on to the Russian border region as well as numerous claims from various intelligence agencies that they are getting their supplies from Russia, I'd say the connection is there and probably true.

The thing is that the Russians have done nothing to deescalate the situation, I'd even say they have been busy poking the fires there in any way they could, and if they hadn't done that, the Ukrainian army would have pacified the region months ago and the rebels would have never gotten their hands on things like freaking BUK launchers.

The only question is who pulled the trigger?

It claimed that over the weekend of 12-13 July Russia sent a convoy of military equipment with up to 150 vehicles, including tanks, armoured personnel carriers artillery, and multiple rocket launchers to the separatists. The statement also said Russia was training separatist fighters in southwest Russia, including on anti-aircraft systems.

Vitaly Nayda, the country's counterintelligence chief, said that Buk missile launchers were seen crossing into Russia from eastern Ukraine on Friday morning.

A definitive investigation was still being prevented by access restrictions imposed by eastern separatist groups. The rebels were removing bodies and the Ukrainian government accused them of sanitising the scene of evidence...
