Bus ride was terror trip of anti-Semitic threats, say Jewish students in Australia
By Kisa Mlela Santiago, CNN
updated 8:31 PM EDT, Thu August 7, 2014

(CNN) -- It started with older youths boarding an Australian school bus, terrifying the elementary-school-aged Jewish children aboard with slurs from "Heil Hitler" to "kill the Jews," and it ended 40 minutes later when the older youths fled before police arrived, according to accounts from some of the young students on the bus.

"When they saw us all in tears, they were laughing," 12-year-old student Noa Stanton told CNN affiliate 7 News in Australia, referring to the older youths who stayed on the bus as it traveled in the suburbs of Sydney.

The youths fled following the Wednesday incident, Sydney police said, but five suspects were arrested Thursday and authorities were waiting on a sixth to turn himself in. No charges were immediately filed and the youths -- described by police as intoxicated -- were released to their parents.

Clyde in the post you are responding to Gary stated

Both sides need to be strapped into chairs by the Egyptians and hit over the head with a 2 x 4 until there is some sense knocked into them and a proposal for say every ton of arms surrendered 10 tons of humanitarian aid will be let in. Then once there are no more arms, Egypt verifies this, then the border is opened.

If they can't or won't agree to some kind of agreement like this, then it is obvious that they want the killing to go on until one side or the other finally signs a surrender agreement and becomes slaves of the other.

Your question shows you did not read or understand the post you are blathering at.

Or the other side of the coin, Israel will never lift the blocade one iota causing massive starvation ...

How would you defeat Hamas, and the other Jihadists?
Didn't you forget to include Zionists?

Why would I even want to defeat them? Do you think this is my war?

Not what shouldn't be done.

Are you actually saying that to me?

But I'm going to tell you exactly what shouldn't be done, even though I posted this before too ... What shouldn't be done is to force a cease fire onto parties that still want to make war.

What would YOU actually DO?

I answered that many many posts ago and more than once.

One side or the other and it doesn't matter which has to sign an unconditional surrender. The only way it would matter is which group of blood thirsty barbaric savages wins is which group you want living next door. I choose neither. I don't want blood thirsty barbaric savages [followers of Abraham's god] living next to me.

Again incorrect.

Just repeating a non-answered question.

We do understand your, and other's reluctance, to answer a very simple question.

What is YOUR answer?

The question was answered 100%. Just because the answer is outside you tiny little preconceived box does not mean it isn't a valid answer.

So are you going to answer my questions?

What mods also dislike is 10 posts of "he said she said" without advancing the topic of the thread by one iota.

Lets try a little civilised intelligent discussion. Which this is not.

Oh PS this is just me, no one has red-x any posts, yet.

Could you please direct me to the answer (message number), of how to defeat NAZI loving Hamas and Jihadists?

By making them irrelevant.

But again, I must object to your misuse of the English language. Not taking a certain action is taking action in and by itself. Choosing not to make a choice IS making a choice. Just not one of the choices you are trying to force on to someone.

Everything a reasonable person or nation could do has been tried with lousy results toward ending the middle east conflict. That is why the solutions I have proposed have been rejected outright and without much comment, except for ridicule. I doubt that there is a solution that would work with the current governments in place, both in the region and elsewhere. Somebody has to be making a profit off of the misery or it would stop.

How does one make an AK47 irrelevant?

Choice's. None of them good. Just less bad for the future. Must be made.

It is very easy to 'Throw Thunder Bolts From A Mountain Top' against Israel.

Make NAZI Loving Hamas "irrelevant"?. How does one make an AK47 irrelevant?

How do you make any political movement irrelevant? There are two ways. Either you give them what they want, and you make the movement the establishment, which in this case is obviously a bad idea. Or you provide people with a superior alternative to the movement is offering, which shouldn't be to difficult. If people are to busy doing the alternative, they don't have time anymore for Hamas, they don't need Hamas anymore, and as a result Hamas loses access to its recruitment base. Meaning, they have become irrelevant, cut off from a large supporter base, fractured and easy pray for police raids. Or they adapt in order to stay relevant, but in that case they need to compete to your alternative, meaning you got the initiative and you can push them to adapt in such a way that they are no longer a threat to yourself.

And can you please stop abusing history by constantly getting Nazis involved. We get it now, Hamas is evil, no one here ever even disputed that. Its a shallow rhetorical tactic, switch to something new please.

One thing the middle east conflict has convinced me of is that God either does not exist as a separate entity or he/she has left us earthlings to our own devices. Kind of like that new series Dominion. Except I don't believe in angels either. If God is up there, wherever "there" is, then he, being all knowing and all powerful, should have ended this conflict ages ago. To me the middle east conflict is proof that God does not exist or at least that he/she has left the building.

One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter.

My country is now ruled by the African National Congress (ANC), which is an alliance with, among others, the South African Communist Party.

The global icon of the 20th century, Nelson Mandela, was once regarded by many in the western world as a terrorist, including Great Britain and the United States. In the USA, this continued long after Mandela's release from prison, and even long after he became the first president of the democratic South Africa.

So be careful with labels. They come unstuck.

More on topic: how did the ANC progress from terrorist organisation to ruling party? Well, maybe Benjamin Netanyahu should have a chat with FW de Klerk and ask him what he did.

One of your solutions was have the UN there...

...they already are & not very effective are they?

Latest

Somebody mentioned American technology being highly effective...

...really?

"Israel's Iron Dome missile defence system had intercepted three rockets and 38 had landed in Israel, it added.

The border area didn't feel particularly safe this morning, and several Kibuttzim were still virtual ghost towns as more than 36 rockets and mortars were fired from Gaza."

Somebody also said 2 wrongs do not make a right, try telling that to the IDF & Hamas...

"But that, perhaps, is part of the Hamas strategy. They don't want Israelis to feel safe or comfortable as long as the blockade of Gaza continues. While Gaza's 1.8 million inhabitants live, penned in, barely able to make a living - so the argument goes - why should Israelis just across the fence feel any more secure?"
