Hello friends old and new, the above establishment is now open for business, not as grand as my previous endeavours but they will be something hot and tasty for everyone.

So I await your pleasure.

They are as warm and crusty as they've always been.

I would be delighted if you could grace my humble emporium with your presence. I'll have a fresh pot ready and a selection of my fancies for you to peruse at your leisure.

Dear Lady (or simply Miggins, if I may take the invitation to use that appellation as extending to one not of your previous acquaintance),

May I first say I am quite delighted to make your acquaintance at this time, and that it is entirely my loss not to have made it earlier.

I eagerly await the day that I am able to travel to your fair land and sample the wares of your fine establishment.

Until then, I am...

David, ancestrally of the Streeters of Goudherst, Kent
(a village that I am given, sadly, to understand to no longer exist)

My dear Mrs Miggins :) Upon espying the grand opening of your most gracious emporium yesterday :) I regretfully was unable to tarry long enough to sample it's delights and consequently fear I have permitted far too much time to pass before conversing with you directly :( I do hope this epistle finds you well and that you can forgive such an unbecoming lapse in my manners? May I take this opportunity too, to compliment you upon having the most scrumptious muffins! :) Quite how one such as Sidney could tear himself away from sinking his teeth into them is quite beyond any sound reasoning on his part surely? :)

Mrs Miggins baps are definitely something to be sampled too....I'm sure Sidney
would vouch for this.

Please to meet you, anniet.

There is no need for any apology, I'm not here as often I would like, in fact I can't stop very long now, with the emporium justing opened, I've a few cavities that need dusting and I'm awaiting a special delivery, but I'm worried it won't fit round the back.

As for Sydney and the muffins, that's only if he remembers to put them in.

As a way of an apology for having to leave so soon, please take one.

Hello Nick, I see you may be partial to a bap every now and then. I'll have to get mine out, let me go check the oven.

My goodness that took some time.

I decided to have a good clear out, it's suprising what you come across when you have a good rummage, I even found an old 7 inch Boxcar Willie.

That brings back memories, I can tell you.

Yes, well, we won't dwell.

I've been busy in the kitchen again. anyone want to try my plum duff? I remember when Sidney had his first mouthful, poor man, he was speechless.

Must dash once more, Sidney has promised me a day at the beach but there's no sign of him anywhere.
