Well the start of the football season is only a little more than a month away. The new Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback, Blake Bortles, comes from my alma mater, The University of Central Florida. I hope he plays as well at the pro level as he did in college.

The real football season (not soccer and not NFL) started on 26 June. The Esks dumped the Lions, 27 to 20.

College football here doesn't start until Sept 1st: U of L vs. Miami.

I hope so also because I like the Jags and it's really about time for a better season.


BTW folks, did you know that austria is doing very well in american football? Not only do we have several of the best teams of whole europe, we also made 2nd place at the european american football championship earlier this year. We would even have won if the refs would have made a better job.
