Message 1556433 - Posted: 13 Aug 2014, 23:20:29 UTC - in response to Message 1555996.

And I just found out there was another mini-episode, "The Last Day" which I am about to watch for the first time.

Okay, I just watched it. It's less important than "The Night of the Doctor" but it does sort of fill in a bit more back story for "The Day of the Doctor." I think you should probably not bother with it until after you've seen "The Day of the Doctor."

Scott, did you know about this?

I saw Night of the Doctor. It aired on BBC-A as a special before a re-airing The Day of the Doctor.

The Night of the Doctor fills in some back story as to why John Hurt's Doctor was the way he was... I wish they would have done a full regeneration scene of Paul McGann to John Hurt, though.

Yeah, I saw it then too. But did you ever see The Last Day?

You'd have to ask the fan who edited that. He did a damn good job of taking bits of both shows and putting them together, though.

Amusing, but I doubt its authenticity.

Okay, Scott, Doctor Fest!

All this week, BBC America is showing Doctor Who, almost all day, every day, starting Monday at 7am Central time with the first David Tennant episode and going all the way through him and Matt Smith by Saturday evening, just in time for the new Peter Capaldi eipsode. There are a few specials mixed in there too.

My DVR is going to be working overtime and deleting a lot of other stuff.

It looks like next Sunday they're going back to the beginning of Eccleston, too.

I have my DVR set for a few select episodes; plus the season premiere, and new season. Were you able to get tickets to the theater presentation of the season premiere? I did; I bought two tickets, one for me and one for a friend. I can't wait for the 23rd and 25th! :-)

I'm not planning to see it in a theater. For one thing, I'm busy at the museum that day. And I just don't feel the need to pay money to see it.

The day it's in the theater is Monday the 25th at 7:00 PM. If you had wanted to go; you could have made it after work. However; you would have had to buy your tickets last week, I don't know if there are any tickets left now. (Lots of WHO fans over here.) :-)

Hey Timelord, can I borrow your TARDIS to jump ahead to 19:50 GMT Sat?

Just finished reading the Jenna Coleman interview on BBC. They've finished filming the season & from what the interview stated, it looks good.

Hope you guys can see it, if not sorry.
