As next month I will be 62 I dont feel young.

And those questions are of the yes or no type. Reminds me of the old joke, Do you still beat your wife.

Heh surprise, solid liberal.

What a very subtle test *ahem*

I do not entirely agree with their description of a 'solid liberal' though. It says they are most positive about the country. I'm not positive about that at all though. Whether its the US or The Netherlands, I'm deeply pessimistic and worried about current trends.

Young Outsider?....I must have stopped ageing then.

2nd thoughts, I'm just an over-aged misfit then.

This is clearly biased towards US politics, and further biased towards "liberals are bad", as defined in US politics. It has no relevance for the majority of the world's population.

How do you get the test is biased? One is given a choice between two extremes, pick the lesser of two evils is how I saw it.

Two observations Es:

1. Most Americans think they are the world, and that their point of view represents the whole planet. This is how they can call their baseball championship "the World Series" with a straight face.

2. We really shouldn't be feeding the trolls.

Yes; each question was worded the same way.
Which of the following statements comes closest to your view?
Government regulation of business is necessary to protect the public interest
Government regulation of business usually does more harm than good

Most people who want to get ahead can make it if they're willing to work hard
Hard work and determination are no guarantee of success for most people

Racial discrimination is the main reason why many black people can't get ahead these days
Blacks who can't get ahead in this country are mostly responsible for their own condition

Using overwhelming military force is the best way to defeat terrorism around the world
Relying too much on military force to defeat terrorism creates hatred that leads to more terrorism

This test is for fine Americans only.

Your best fit is...
Solid Liberal
along with 15% of the public.

Generally affluent and highly educated, most Solid Liberals strongly support the social safety net and take very liberal positions on virtually all issues. Most say they always vote Democratic and are unflagging supporters of Barack Obama. Overall, Solid Liberals are very optimistic about the nation’s future and are the most likely to say that America’s success is linked to its ability to change, rather than its reliance on long-standing principles. On foreign policy, Solid Liberals overwhelmingly believe that good diplomacy – rather than military strength – is the best way to ensure peace.

Not terribly surprised by this result.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ...

Meh, the same issues can be found to some degree in all other Western nations. It is the classic economic left/right divide.

No clue Sherlock? A Pew Research Trust test of US persons politics is biased towards US politics? Must have taken some hard deep thinking to come up with that one ...

Pew Trusts is now the largest funder of the left-wing Tides Center, which acts as a middleman directing funds from multiple sources to hundreds of radical groups while concealing the sources of the funds. Between 1990 and 2002, Pew Trusts donated nearly $109 million to Tides. Pew Trusts also funds anticapitalist groups like the Institute for Policy Studies, a pro-Castro think tank that opposed America's efforts to roll back communism during the Cold War and since 9/11 has been a staunch opponent of America's war on terror.

And this is "liberals are bad" ...
I suggest you carefully check where you fall on the political spectrum or perhaps your bias is showing.

Was a Business Conservative - 10%.

Found the questions biased towards the Left - Right questions/answers.

Tough to answer when in the middle (Believe 50% Conservative and 50% Liberal).

I think the questions were intentionally written that way to force you to pick a right of left answer for each subject. If you noticed they asked several questions about each area. If you answer an area all left of all right, then you are left or right. If you split your answers you may be an orthogonal and that seems to be what they are trying to measure.
