I realize, now. That my path and yours, although taken the same computer program to find ET, may not have ended up in the same place.
And my faith in some that I have considered friends was misplaced.

It is hard at times to sort whether a man means to entertain or wound. Or so says political correctness. I don't subscribe to that theory.
I seek only to entertain. If another man's soul seeks to weaponize that, it is his soul only that does. Not mine.

When a man learns to sort out a man's meaning from his words, then only shall he be at peace. All of the most honored men in life have taught that. Even Jesus Christ. And I certainly am not Him, but preach some things at times that some might learn from.

Could I please say something here without being castigated for it?

OK......I'll try in a vain attempt to let some who have been my detractors understand me better...I hope.

I, only I...sit here at my keyboard and attempt to share things with you.
If you have noticed, and maybe some psych major will ramp up and interject, but......

Many or most of my posts are links to what I see in my travels around the world or net, as it may be.

I see things that inspire me or excite me or make me sad.
And I usually rush off to Seti to share those moments with my friends here.
Sometimes I blunder, and what I think is important or special falls flat.
Sometimes not.

It's kinda like Skynet...one day I just became aware and took off on this mission I seem to have to share what I encounter in my hours and hours of searching with others. That would be YOU, my Seti friends.

Now, I suppose that might have been OK if I were not also an alcoholic at times.
Yes, 'at times', not 24/7.
But, it leads me into traps that I cannot escape. Words I cannot retract, opinions I should not share, depths that I should not go to. They should be mine and mine alone..... But, alas, that is not the case. My heart, my soul, my deepest thoughts I have revealed here. And that has opened me up to a ton of criticism.

Wanna know about my cats? My job?, The love of my life? Seti? My computers?
My car? Anything..........I answer most any questions.

The only thing I cannot answer to at times is ME. I just don't understand ME at times. And my inner voice is getting quieter all the time.

I think you understand what that means. When I cannot answer my inner voice, something is very very wrong. When I ask myself a question and minutes later realize that I not only have not answered myself, but have no clue what the question was, only that there was one.

I post these things because at some point, and it may not be too distant, I may not be able to. I may stare at the screen and keyboard and look over my shoulder at some caretaker as if to ask.....yes, what do I do now?/

That time has not come yet. The doctors might have their head up their arses.
I just ask that if I truly do descend into madness that you remember the kind old kittyman.

And if even my innermost thought are wrong on this one, lets have a laugh about it in 10 years or so, eh?
I post this because I am scared of what I am told, and yet unafraid because of my faith in God.

And my faith in my friends here who have known me for sooooooo long.

Fact remains......
My sight grows dimmer each day.
If you recall, I had cataract surgery about 4 years ago. Worked like a charm.
But, I now see everything in life through plastic eyes.
I have a coworker that still does not understand this, and expects me to see work as she does. I don't, and cannot. I need lots of light to see some things.
Lots of light. At times, my crunching room must be lit up with a couple of 5kw klieg lights just so's I can type without touch typing.........and I do that when really whacked. You had seen how well that works.
