Same for all organisms. Evolution has the most profound effect when that organism is under stress.
Probably because the stakes are higher, if the organism is more likely to die out, any improvements that happen due to random chance (which is of course the modus operandi of evolution) are more likely to stick around.

The last 135~136 yrs of weather reports are pretty irrelevant. The various ice cores from around the world give a much better view of the CLIMATE of the last 10,000 yrs or so.

The question of weather 135~136 yrs ago is simple enough, the records for various parts of the world are available. The weather 900~1000 yrs ago (or even further back in time) is being studied by various means.(gas analysis, pollen, etc)
There are also ocean core samples which yeild similar results. If you already know, why are you being so argumentative? If you didn't know, you now have something to research
