From the same :

Consider:
• According to NASA satellites and all ground-based temperature measurements, global warming ceased in the late 1990s. This when CO2 levels have risen almost 10 percent since 1997. The post-1997 CO2 emissions represent an astonishing 30 percent of all human-related emissions since the Industrial Revolution began. That we’ve seen no warming contradicts all CO2-based climate models upon which global-warming concerns are founded.

•Rates of sea-level rise remain small and are even slowing, over recent decades averaging about 1 millimeter per year as measured by tide gauges and 2 to 3 mm/year as inferred from “adjusted” satellite data. Again, this is far less than what the alarmists suggested.

• Satellites also show that a greater area of Antarctic sea ice exists now than any time since space-based measurements began in 1979. In other words, the ice caps aren’t melting.

William all of what you have said is wrong temps are still going up just not as fast and why well it's because the ocean currents have changed .
South pole has had winds pushing sea ice in 1 direction and it has built up .

Where does sea ice come from ...mmm....maybe the Land so there must be a lot more ice entering the ocean ....maybe ? Why would there be more ice if it's not melting .....?mmmmm

And we don't have to worry how high the CO2 gets so long as there is 21% O2

Oh yeh the O2 is not at 21% ANYMORE IS IT . But that ok we can still live if it 19% or 15% ...realy ....CAN WE ??????????

And Venus has nothing to show us it was all ways hot there !

Love The Way Venus is Used as An Example. Also Mars.

ROTFLMAO.

Humans have Destroyed Venus, Mars and Now Working on Destroying Earth.

Yep.

We Know Exactly what happened to Venus and Mars.

What has Happened 'is' The EnviroFreak Brainiacs needed an OH MY GOD, LOOK WHAT HAPPENED to Venus, to Get Their Agendas Rolling, and Man 'O Live, have The DUMMIES Bought 'it'.

Keep Dat O2 and CO2 Crankin' Matey.

When did we destroy Venus and Mars?? To my knowledge those two planets still accompany us and I don't think our carbon footprint reaches just that far (luckily...)

Carbon Tax reduced CO 2 in 12 months .

So We get rid of it!,and how much will Direct Action do in the same 12 months ?

So far 0

Who said that CO 2 caused the ocean currents to change ?

NOT ME

Funny thou the Atlantic Current has slowed down and the salinity of the current has changed ! .

Wonder what caused that to happen ?!, wouldn't have been all that fresh water entering the ocean from the ice that is not melting ?

Oh I forgot: This 'co2 scare' is just about 'Income Redistribution', and Left Wing Anti-Capitalism.

Really i suggest you watch a T.V dramatisation Called "BURN" as that suggest it's more about profit's that can be made once everything goes bad after all who is going to make money out of cleaning the mess up ? and , it will be the average Joe that will pay so !, wealth Redistribution !.I think not

Venus and Mars are very good comparisons as to what our Earth could become...

It is only a question of how our industry industrially changes our atmosphere to make that becoming.

Our local weather gives a good example of what our pollution and CO2 pollution looks like... This is happening NOW yet again: Health warnings as UK pollution levels rise

The pollution murk is a very good example of what we would see all of the time if our eyes could directly see CO2 pollution... As it is, this highly visible pollution is happening far too often when we have too calm a period to push the pollution out to sea...

The Ocean Currents have Changed? How did increased co2 do that?

Clyde haven't you been doing any reading?

Perhaps Ocean Currents are changing due to Natural Causes we do not know about - yet. Our Knowledge is really limited.

Clyde your smart enough to do your own research so here is a link to get you started on ocean currents and how they work

So the north pole did not melt as much as 2012 or 2013 so there is nothing to worry about then ....OR IS THERE ?

http://thinkprogress.org/climate/2014/09/18/3569158/noaa-hottest-august-on-record/

This pop'd up on my twitter feed and to think the solar max is coming to a end so can't now start blaming the sun as it's getting cooler now and yet look at the link and please explain it deniers ?

... What is wrong about being Skeptical about everything, and everyone?

Just makes people PROVE IT. I personally don't believe The Warmest's have proven their case - YET.

What's wrong is when the denial goes to the extreme farce of turning real world events into supposed conspiracy theory and FUD... You sure you're not being sponsored by Big Dirty Fossils?...

There is well proven and demonstrated that increasing atmospheric CO2 increases warming near the ground which increases evaporation which then leads to greater extremes of such as this:

Train stuck in flood water after storms in southern England

Passengers had to be rescued from a train after it became trapped in flood water during a night of storms in southern England. ...

... The train came to a halt in a cutting where water was up to 1m-deep (3ft) in places within the space of an hour...

... The Met office said there had been between 0.4 and 0.8in (10 and 20mm) of rainfall over a four-hour period on Friday morning...

That sort of thing is more typical of certain areas of the USA or the tropics. Certainly not usual for the UK although such events appear to be getting ever more common.

And the radioisotope mix of the CO2 in our atmosphere clearly shows that it is our industry that has put it there...

Martin

Perhaps we should obsess over this as well. From :

The World Meteorological Organization

"The atmospheric burden of nitrous oxide in 2010 was 323.2 parts per billion - 20% higher than in the pre-industrial era. It has grown at an average of about 0.75 parts per billion over the past ten years, mainly as a result of the use of nitrogen containing fertilizers, including manure, which has profoundly affected the global nitrogen cycle.

Its impact on climate, over a 100 year period, is 298 times greater than equal emissions of carbon dioxide. It also plays an important role in the destruction of the stratospheric ozone layer which protects us from the harmful ultraviolet rays of the sun."

A bit of nitrous oxide blown into this forum section wouldn't be a bad idea William for some, if you get what I mean. :-D

But maybe it would be of better use in our motor vehicles. ;-)

Cheers.

No, I am no Right Wing, Pro-Capitalist Nut. They Suck Too.

What is wrong about being Skeptical about everything, and everyone?

Good to here me to .
I think we should always ask questions too even ask questions of the answers but when it comes to Global warming and who, why , well the evidence is just to over whelming on the side that we are killing ours elf's and we can no longer debate it but we must now do things to reduce it which i think we can , and it will not mean economic disaster . I think it will be the opposite and bring on a ecomnic boom .

Look what we did to the OZONE layer and that did not take long and we did not need as much gas to stuff it up . So why is it so hard for people to understand we are putting 1,00,000 times more of a different gas into the atmosphere , and we are to believe it's not doing anything ...? shoreely some of you out there are way to smart to listen to the b/s or am i wrong ?

... Fantastic Scientific response. Shows why I am Skeptical. Are we getting paranoid?

Very good troll response from you there. Completely ignore the rest of the post and real world facts to instead get personal and stir up the FUD.

Can you get real?

Or is this all a game of denial and trolling?...

Meanwhile, a lot of the world shouts out to get real this Sunday:

People's Climate March Kicks Off With Live Event

Climate activists from around the world are coming together to take part in the People's Climate March in New York City this Sunday, Sept. 21...

With more around the world:

... the largest climate mobilisation in history...

Time for the deniers to wake up to reality?!...
