The point I was making was that Oil Money is funding terrorism--Not all oil money but Money from ISIS, Iran and you can name the rest. High oil demand keeps the price up and necessitates some in the world to buy from States that sponsor terrorism.

Also a source of funding is from the paying of ransom for those seized by various terrorist organizations

Wow with all your weaponry, technology & massive projection of power, you cannot field small highly armed intelligence teams to track, lift & dispose of the hierarchy of those organisations?

Good question. But that only works if the funds are placed with organizations that comply with international law because they operate in areas with governments that comply with international law.

ISIS video shows beheading of American journalist Steven Sotloff

(CNN) -- The ISIS terror group has published a video titled "A second message to America," showing the beheading of American journalist Steven Sotloff.

The video also threatens the life of British captive David Haines.

Sotloff speaks to the camera before he is killed, saying he is "paying the price" for U.S. intervention. Considering he was a captive, it's possible that his words were scripted for him.
