That is a bit familiar Chris. I believe the proper initial form of address would be "Happy birthday your royal highness". |

Frequently I can't work out if he is "thinking with his mouth", or has thought long and hard about the comment, then seeks the most opportune/inappropriate moment to deliver it. Which ever is the right I still think Phil the Greek is one of the most genuine "old codger" I have ever encountered, or heard. I like the man. He served in the Royal Navy during WW2 On quite a few warships that went into harms way. A man of his heritage could have taken the safe route and done staff work at some HQ. He didnt. That speaks volumes of his character. And if he does speak his mind. I would like to think he earned that right. Like I said, I like the man. [/quote] Old James |

I love his memorable gaffs, but sadly it seems that he didn't enlighten us with a new 1 this year. :-( Cheers. |

Like father like daughter! Princess Anne visited Tower Hamlets once which is 50% ethnic, and said to the assembled Bangladeshi crowd "oh, there are quite a few of you here aren't there?". They got a bit upset about it and it took the promise of a new community centre to defuse it! I often wonder if she inadvertently insults horses too. I think she's bound too if she talks to them :) |

But it looks like Charlie boy might be Philips apprentice..."I can't understand Scots when they've had a drink" Trumped up charges Chris I assure you :) Little quote from Wiki: "While in the Tower he was regarded as a political martyr..." but he did graffiti his cell wall by carving his name into it :/ naughty naughty :) |

You'll end up in the Tower of London you will :-)) Ah, the 1st Earl of Orford, Robert Walpole - the first (and also the longest-serving) Prime Minister in British history! |
