I think it might have something to do with my lean build, but...
Also, I bought one of those Omron HJ-321 pedometers.
I am putting on almost 50 miles of walking a week at work.
No wonder I get a bit tired by the end of the week.

My pedometer is the exact same one, and I guess I have it calibrated right, but it says yesterday I had 13607 steps, or 5.4 miles. That just seems like a lot of miles.

I have mine set to a 27 inch stride...which I learned, it not always accurate.
If I am toddling about at a slow walk, it might be 24 inches or less. And if I am purposefully walking from one end of the long factory floor to the other end to get a part I need, it might be 30.
So, for me, it is just an interesting toy. But does give me some insight into just how much time I spend walking each day to do my work.

Right. I have mine set at 25, but I measured that at a conservative pace. My deliberate stride is probably more like 30, too. You're right, it's a fun toy, basically.

OK I'm a bit slow today so it's Monday night weigh in...

Last week 90.3kg

This week 89.4kg

Yay lost 900grams. It's getting harder though.

Congratz Monday, you're doing great!

Thanks Julie.

Considering My height is 6'1" or 185.42cm, My stride would be 30.314" or 77.00cm, at least according to the website here, it's approximate of course, but this will do for Me. Converting from inches to cm or vice versa can be done here. Now I've done My 2nd good deed for the day.

Pedometers are good at counting steps and not so good at estimating distance.
Walking I get between 1850 and 2200 steps per mile depending on how fast I'm going and the terrain I'm on.

In kg I'm 172.36kg or roughly 380.00lbs, since I used to weigh 418.00lbs or 189.60kg for a loss of about 38.00lbs or 17.23kg.

Well done Vic :-)

As for belts - A whole holes is good :-) The worst time is when you are a "half hole" - you know, when the next hole is too tight, and the previous one is too loose and you trousers end up on the floor...

I just eat lower calorie foods, peanut butter here has 180 per serving vs 200 or 220, eggs and 2 sausage with salt and pepper, bread at 70 a slice, if I have pancakes then there is maple syrup with 100 instead of 200 or more, plus lots of crystal light fruit punch, of course all the food and drink is made with Brita filtered water, mainly cause of the calcium carbonate here that's in the water, that makes things taste different I've found. Also I don't buy any cane sugar, though there is some in the coffee creamer, but at 10 a serving, it's not to be worried about, since I have between 1 and 4 cups a day.

Thanks Rob and TL.

Have to agree. Whenever I buy a new belt, I have to keep remembering to put 6 new holes in them (no joke). If not, well...

...belts don't cater for 20/22" waists :-(

Yeah eating disorders I don't do, though I do have a scale, I just subtract 12lbs from what My scale says vs what a commercial scale at the local supermarket says, medical scales here stop at 300lbs, so they are useless.

That all sounds pretty good, Vic. As far as beverages go, I love plain ice water, but I'm a real juice-aholic. I can go through a half gallon of oj a day, easily.
