Minor ARGH, set BOINC to snooze, and it decided all by itself to go back to crunching, no reboot or any other such. With the AC off, no crunch. Has anyone else seen this? |

I thought "snooze" was supposed to suspend things just for 1 hour, after which it restarts. I use it often as I tend to forget to "un-snooze" |

If you right-click on the BOINC icon in your system tray and select "Snooze", it automatically un-snoozes after an hour. Use the BOINC Manager Activity menu drop-down and select Suspend from there as it will not un-suspend after a period of time like snooze does. (Sidenote: lost a month's worth of crunching because I used Suspend rather than snooze. D'oh!) |

Funny thing is, if I recall correctly, the 'snooze' option was indefinite until someone complained that they forgot to un-snooze, so a wish-list item was put in to limit the snooze to a period of time, and I think 1 hour was chosen at random. |

THE AC IS OUT AT WORK! It wasn't! The AC man has it operating, but it will never catch up before quitting time. |

I have connected my new PC to the Samsung TV set with its LED monitor, so I don't see any bad news, only screensavers on my Windows 8.1 running 4 BOINC projects. They are all nice. Tullio |
