Eric just announced in the Beta forum that he will push 7.28, both Neon and non-Neon, over here to Main during the outrage next Tuesday.

He says it runs slightly slower than 7.21, but it has a lower error rate.

My Galaxy Note II loves it, running through shorties in around 15 hours and non-shorties in around 45, running on two cores. I think I might as well turn my phone loose on useful work over here and put Beta on NNT until he comes out with a new version to test.

That's what I get for thinking too far ahead...

I put the phone on NNT for Beta yesterday, since it was working on a pair of non-shorties that would take it well beyond today's outrage to finish. Found out just now, one of them overflowed at just under 8 hours. Since it was already on NNT, it downloaded two new tasks from Main and started crunching both of them, letting the remaining Beta sit idle. Of course, they're 7.21s, not 7.28s.

Oh well, I should still get credit for them, even if they find an extra triplet.
