What's New

THis release needs the BOINC 4.55 or 4.56 version to run.

- BoincSpy

- The SkyMap has changed to support showing the Best ( gaussian/pulse/triplet/spike ) scores. More work needed still.
- BoincSpy will redirect to any Web Site when clicking on the Username Link in the Project Stats/Host Info Tab.
Refer to the readme.txt on how to add support for this.


If you have the cookies enabled for this project, it will direct you to proper page for your account.



- DBAgent(s) - cmdline / Service.

- The program will save the SETI results that mimics the Way SETISPy does. To do add the following line to the appropriate
.exe.config file. (BoincSpyAgent.exe.config or DBAgentService.exe.config). Note: you can only one database type defined:

BoincSpy.Databases.MSSQLDatabase ( SQL Server ) or BoincSpy.Databases.SetiSpyFormat ( IE cannot have 2 defined at once ).

Again check the readme.txt on how to do this... Those darn angle brackets.

When will there be a version that you can install and will run by itself without having to edit this file and that file and rename this and that?

I installed and changed correct files and it won't even recognize that boinc is running Seti. It just sits there doing nothing displaying nothing. Trying to use any features makes it exit with an error.


(edit) Nevermind. My stupid error for not reading correctly.

Heads up... BoincSpy 0.98 does not work with the new alpha version of BOINC 4.57.

BOINC changed a couple of the xml items ( report_deadline and user_create_time ) from integer to floating.. I was expecting an integer and when it found a float, the application had an exception fault.

A patch will be release tomorrow morning PST... Thanks.

0.9.8 Refresh available for BOINC 4.5.7.

You need to remove / re-install the assembly files stored in the GAC.

Instructions are found in the readme.txt...
