Greetings, I just downloaded a new anniversary certificate marking my 15th year here at SETI@Home. Windows Photo Viewer and PhotoFiltre cannot display the image. I saved it as an image file. What needs to be done or used to view this image on my PC? Or, is there something I need to do to get the image saved as an image if "Save image as..." is not the proper method for saving the image? I have Win7 Pro 64 bit and use the latest version of Firefox (which is looking more like Chrome than my beloved Firefox of the past). Any info would be greatly appreciated and thank you in advance. :) Keep on BOINCing...! :) CAPT Siran d'Vel'nahr - L L & P _\\// Winders 11 OS? "What a piece of junk!" - L. Greetings, http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/cert1.php Looks like it is generated dynamically. Best bet might be a screenshot. |

Greetings, When I clicked the link, it generated a certificate based on my own account data. I think it is designed for direct printing, but if your printer supports it, try "Print to PDF". Donald Infernal Optimist / Submariner, retired |

Greetings, I went with the cert that has the aerial Arecibo photo on it. When I right licked the cert it came up with "Save image as..." on the menu. When I saved it, it had a .php.jpg extension after the "cert1" name. So, in reality it is not a JPEG image at all. I'm thinking I need to figure out how to open a file in Firefox (which looks more like Chrome) like I used to be able to. I'm thinking that if I drop the .jpg extension in the file name and double click it, it will show up in Firefox. I'll try that and see what happens. I'll be back... Keep on BOINCing...! :) [edit1] Ok, that works. Thing is though, even though I am logged in, I have to log in to view the cert. There has to be a different way to do this, perhaps as someone said, save it as a PDF. I believe a have a utility that "prints" to a PDF. I'll see what I come up with. :) [/edit1] [edit2] Ok, saved as a PDF using PrimoPDF. The file I have for last year shows this years date and data. Bummer! :( [/edit2] CAPT Siran d'Vel'nahr - L L & P _\\// Winders 11 OS? "What a piece of junk!" - L.
