Winning before work not until mid august. winning anyway. A person who won't read has no advantage over one who can't read. (Mark Twain) |

Got up fairly early and went out to finish mowing the back yard before it got warm. Still pretty buggy, though. Now I should take a shower and go to Chicago to watch for the engines coming back from North Carolina. CB&Q 9911A has a GPS tracker which has been showing it at NS's Ashland Yard in Chicago since some time yesterday. Actually, I'm not as much interested in it and the other two that are going to IRM, as I am in NKP 190 and SOO 2500, which I'm far less likely to ever have a chance to see again. Winning in the cool of the morning. Like David, I've already been out doing yardwork. Can't do much in 100+F heat anymore. Enjoying a light breakfast before a trip to the recycle center Donald Infernal Optimist / Submariner, retired |
