The BOINC screensaver no longer displays the 3D number crunching graphic. It flashes rather rapidly thru the various screens that it shows, but barely even tries to display the 3D graphic. This happens in SETI and Einstein @home (the only 2 I run). Any advice on how to get this back working is appreciated.

Running Win7 x64 with an AMD vid card.

Use Ctrl+F on this forum ('Questions and Answers : Windows') and paste:

This will find 2 relevant threads (but not yours, it say "sreensaver")

This exact same thing is what's happening to me which is why I came to the forums to see if I was the only one. Regardless of the screensaver settings used it flashes between all of them about once per second. I just want it to stay on the Seti screensaver.

Have you found an answer yet ScottAsus?

From what I've found this has something to do with BOINC and it hasn't been fixed yet, at least that's what I recall reading. I have the same persisting problem which is slightly upsetting since I really enjoyed the screensaver before.

I had the same couple of days ago. Just installed everything on a new machine and it grabbed 100% of all cpu's. I limited it to 25% and then the flashing started. Changed it to 100% and only 1 of 4 cpu's and now it behaves normal.
(except for the 3D rotating box, but that is another problem in this forum...)
