I agree Lynn, I have got some just full of them but I was smart enough to treat them as soon as they came home. :)

Grace and Her predecessor Angel came from the Apple Valley Animal Shelter, My 1st two cats I'd rescued and had treated and fixed, one caused a car accident, resulting in that cat getting away, never to be seen by Me again.

Sorry to hear Vic. What was her/his name?

His name was Tiger, He was the one who ran away, Baby was His brother, I should have done what the vet thought I should do, Baby had just come out of surgery, while Tiger had time to recover, the Doc wanted to make Tiger groggy enough to travel since I didn't at the time have a cat carrier and these were My first two cats, I was new at this, I thought I could control Him, I was wrong, Tiger caused Me to crash into a flatbed tow truck, which took out the A pillar(drivers side only), the windshield and the driver and passenger side windows shattered, so Tiger leaped out the passenger side(right side in the US) and vanished, I almost got arrested for hit and run which is a felony in California as I'd gone out to look for Tiger, I told the officer I was transporting two cats back home from the vet, Tiger just before the crash walked right into My field of view and I could not see the road cause of that, this was years ago of course, no one was hurt, but the car was totaled, it was a 1984 Pontiac Fiero, which needed power steering, turns required some muscle... Needless to say Tiger was never seen by Me again, hopefully someone adopted Him or turned Him in, I called all around and nothing.

The truck was like this one:

I can see how a cat would get all shook up and take off, first thing not being home and so on.

I'll tell you, I wouldn't have a car without power stearing and power breaks anymore. It sure makes life easy.

Not so much us caring for animals, rather one of them caring for us, but a very well trained dog performing a useful role:-

Very anxious this week. Abby has an anaesthetic-applied dental Thursday. I took a day off of work as there's NO way I can work worrying about her and trying to manage Suz's anxiety as well

I'm sure it will go fine but anaesthetics are worrying things so I understand how anxious you must be. Will be thinking of you all and wishing Abby the very best outcome Blurf.

@Vic - catnip has varying effects on my lot :))))))) all disturbing :)

Glad you liked it Annie...

Sometimes Grace takes off like Viper on a catapult...

That can mean She's cold or not happy with something I did, I just installed 5 outlet and 1 light switch gaskets and I have 6 more electrical outlets to go, 1 will be easy, the other 4 difficult, and 1 will only be done after I get this PC fixed, as the motherboard is so fragile that last time it took about 6 minutes to get the PC restarted, in any case no more for today, I need to cool down, a lot.
