I'm running Linux Mint 16 and have a Radeon HD6670 card and an AMD A6-3670 APU with its own GPU capabilities. The event log states: "No usable GPUs found". I'm using xserver-xorg-video-ati driver which is the one recommended. I have SETI set up to work with a GPU (but one is not being detected by BOINC). I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, just not sure what. Please can anyone guide me on what I need to do to get GPU working on SETI? |

You need drivers that support OpenCL I don't know the Linux world but think that only drivers from ATI AMD have OpenCL https://www.google.com/#q=Linux+ATI+AMD+OpenCL After installation of ATI AMD drivers you can test the functionality of OpenCL by LuxMark "Open source, 100% OpenCL, Cross platform (Linux, MacOS, Windows, etc.)" http://www.luxrender.net/wiki/LuxMark  - ALF - "Find out what you don't do well ..... then don't do it!" :)  |
