Such an effective tactic to shut a group that is historically marginalized in society up about racism by simply pointing out some of their people are also 'racist' like that somehow excuses your own racism.

And to think that other people here just a few months ago tried to argue that racism is over in the United States.

This isn't about racism; this is about a little love spat between Sterling and his "silly rabbit" with whom he is in love. One who listed to the entire tape would know this.

I believe we all have enough skeletons in our closets to be thrown under the train. Even so in this day and age a person in the public eye must be very careful of every word that comes out of his/her mouth or that gets written or that is posted in an email or on some social media. The hounds are out there nipping at our feet waiting for just one slip of the tongue. The higher up in the social order you are the more careful you must be. Let me put my toe in the water here.

Racism. Now only those who perceive they have been so offended generally bandy that term about. Wave it around like a flag.

Some here have called me that. And it is simply not true.

I have some very strong thoughts about one class of people here in the states. And that is those who are not here legally.
That is all.

I don't think that there is anything wrong with expressing one's dissatisfaction with the fact that there are hundreds of thousands of illegals here in my country who are sucking up social services and tax dollars at my expense.

That is not being racist. I don't care what race or religion.

I have told you all before that I am the son of German immigrants. Who came here by the book. They did not sneak across the border, grab a fake green card and apply for welfare. Some of you complainers don't have a clue what it took back at that time to come to this country and legally apply for citizenship.
I know. I heard it directly from my grandpapa a couple of times. It was NOT an easy thing.

And yet, my father had some interactions with a FEW African Americans while in the navy that convinced him that there was such a thing as a n****r. But he still would not label the entire race as such. And he taught me that.
Take each and every human being and let them label themselves.
It shall be apparent to most what they are by what they say and do.

A couple of weeks ago, I had been into my cups as usual, and went for a walk down the street to survey the wreckage that the sewer construction project was doing to my street. A few houses down, another homeowner was doing the same.
And he happened to be Mexican. We had a lengthy conversation. And when it was all said and done, he was walking back to his house, and abruptly turned back to me and said....

'Mark, you have been more kind to me than anybody in 5 years since I moved in here. Thank you.'

This kinda floored me at that point, because I had never thought that there were any problems with relations between neighbors on my street. This is an old neighborhood. I am probably one of the oldest living people on my street, having been here for some 34 years. And I now have a new friend.

So...back to the original point....

It's not an Eviction. It's an Attachment, according to the Lawyers. Basically means he cannot sell, nor borrow (out of the Ranching Business). Basically losing his property.

When the west was opened up for settlement the railroads were given vast tracts as an incentive to build the tracks. A lot of land was practically given to people who would settle on and farm the land.

As far as the term "native American" is used it is a misnomer. There are no native Americans, we all got here from somewhere else. Humans did not evolve in the western hemisphere. The so called native Americans came from Siberia and moved down the west coast of North America and spread further south and inland. So, they were here first. There are many instances throughout eurasia where the first settlers were displaced by later stronger groups of people. So, what the white man did in America is little different than events elsewhere like the viking conquest of england.

Also. DNA from these Immigrants, on the East Coast of North America, show the influence from what is now Spain. Possibly using an 'Ice Bridge' (extended polar ice cap) from Western Europe, 10,000 to 12,000 years ago.

Additionally. The first people to settle the America's (Southern/Central South America) were not from Siberia, Europe, nor Africa.

Well, technically we are all from africa, like it or not. I have seen and read that it is likely that settlers in central and south america came across from micronesia on rafts or in canoes but I didn't think it had been scientifically proven.
